Once upon a time, there was a rock. But, he was no ordinary rock, because he had a hidden superhero identity! To the village people, he was Ultraman. 

Although mysterious to the village people, Ultraman was someone they were able to constantly rely on! Whether rescuing a kite from a tree or finding a lost child, he was always there and always ready to help!  

Like many, Ultraman lived in a cozy little cabin, just outside of the village.  

When not in his super hero suit, Ultraman was an ordinary villager named Kona, who enjoyed many of the same things as anyone else. 

Unfortunately for Kona, when not hidden as a superhero, being a rock caused the rest of the villagers to act out of fear and crudeness. Which resulted in Kona being kicked out of town all the time.

As much as Kona tried to work past this treatment, he eventually reached a breaking point. “I try and I try, but no matter how much I try, the people won’t look past my one flaw” cried Kona, “Why is it that when I put on a mask they love me, but once I take it off I am feared and hated?”

“If they hate me regardless, why does it matter what mask I wear?”

With that, Kona spent many hours reconstructing his super suit into something new. Something…angry.

And thus, a new Ultraman was born, although this one would not be so willing to help the villagers.

“Excuse me!” begged a little boy, “Have you seen Ultraman? My cat is stuck in a tree and I need him bad!... He looks kind of like you actually!” 

“Oh, Ultraman?” Ultraman said slowly, “ I wouldn’t expect him around anytime soon.” “What are you talking about?” the little boy asked cautiously. “I just mean you might want to find a different way to get your cat out of that tree,” Ultraman said with a scary grin.  

Like Ultraman had hoped, his scary grin was able to scare the little boy off, and he was able to start his planning of revenge on the villagers who had treated him so poorly.
