Peter the Pig Finds Friends

Once upon a time, there was a young piglet named Peter the Pig. Peter struggled with making friends at his last school.

He got bullied by people he thought were his friends. They made fun of his love for drama and acting.

"Ew! Peter the Pig likes drama class. What a weirdo!!"

"I'm really nervous about my first day at this new school."

Peter the Pig and his mother decided he needed a change. Today was the day Peter would start at a new school. On his way there, Peter told his mother,

Full of worry, Peter wondered what his new classmates would think of him. He was scared that he would be bullied like he was at his old school. Peter’s mother said,

"Don't worry, honey. They will like you for who you are, no matter what. Just be yourself!"

This pep talk helped Peter. But when he got out of the car and started walking into school, Peter was filled with panic. His legs turned into Jell-O!

I'm so nervous...

Peter went to his first class and didn’t talk to anyone. He was too nervous about what they would think of him.

"I guess it's better to have no friends than friends who bully me," Peter sadly thought.

“RINGGG!” It was time for Peter to go to lunch.

Peter worried when he entered the cafeteria. Just as Peter thought he would have lunch by himself…

"Oh no! Where should I sit? I guess I can sit here by myself."

Peter notices two people walking up to him!

"Hey! You’re Peter the Pig, right? I’m Beau the Bear, and this is my best friend, Landon the Lion. We saw you in our history class earlier today. Can we sit with you?” asked Beau the Bear.

Peter was astonished. He couldn’t believe that they wanted to have lunch with him!
