He had always wanted to drink water from the Trevi Fountain; now, there it was in front of him. He drank like he hadn’t drank water for years.

He felt odd after drinking from the fountain. His surroundings started to brighten up to a point where he couldn’t see anymore.

He felt the hot air around him when he opened his eyes just to see bustling crowds of the city. The people around the fountain reminded him of the Ancient Romans until he realized that everyone looked very similar. The buildings were brand new and the fountain was as white as snow. He had gone back in time!

People were performing in the charming streets of Rome. The vibrant energy of street performances led him to the Pantheon, where he locked his eyes with a fascinating street dancer in a red dress. His heart was instantly enchanted. As the woman danced in front of front of the Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Layola Church, the musician’s love grew stronger.

He pushed through the crowd to reach her, but she remained distant despite his eager attempts to talk to her. With courage, he mentioned his musical talents, hoping to grab her interest. Unfortunately, his instrument was not with him, and the woman refused to collaborate without one.

The musician, refusing to lose hope, searched the church for an instrument and stumbled upon a display of guitars in front of a nearby shop. Seizing a chance, he grabbed a guitar and ran with the shopkeeper running right after him.

He managed to lose the shopkeeper at Piazza Navona, but in the chaos, he lost sight of the dancer as well. Without losing his passion, he wondered around countless streets to find her. The historical charm of the streets captivated him as he reached Quattro Fontane. In one of the side streets, he caught a glimpse of the woman in her red dress.

He followed her as she walked towards the Spanish Steps, eventually persuading her to join him in a performance. Their music and dance intertwined on the Spanish Steps, mesmerizing the audience and earning them a shower of coins.

However, their happiness ended when the guitar's owner spotted them. The musician was forced to run as fast he can once again. While running, he stumbled and fell into the Fontada della Barcaccia, traveling back to the present day

At first, he was in shock by all the things that he had witnesses. He waited by the fountain for hours, day and night, hoping for the woman to appear, but she never did. The love they shared remained a sweet, timeless memory that will always have a part in the musician’s heart, forever.
