We had a lot of fun learning a Greek dance. With that, we became richer and more fulfilled in terms of musical art.

When we researched about all the cultures, we noticed that the Macedonian culture has similarities with the Turkish culture. We liked the Turkish songs and dances the most.
That's why we learned Turkish songs and dances. We enjoyed mastering the dance steps!!!

We were especially pleased to meet students from other countries and their mentors. This experience allowed us to bond, learn from each other, and create new friendships. The eTwinning project enabled us not only to enrich our knowledge and skills but also to have fun and create unforgettable memories.

"Diversity of Cultures - Bridges of Friendship"

At the beginning of the project, it was interesting to place information in padlets for students

Students presented interesting presentations: introducing the country, city, school

Diliski N1 public school logo
The students searched for information about the relationship between the partner countries of our project and Georgia over the centuries.

Greet all partners in their own language
We got to know the culture of all partner schools and made presentations

During this activity, we greeted each other in the language of all partner countries, then we talked about the relations between Georgia and partner countries.

Getting to know the culture of our partners

Students and teachers prepared and tasted Georgian traditional dishes.
Master class "Khinkle" preparation for friendly countries.

Students learned Spanish dance and song

Dialogue between cultures is very important and we invited experts who are very successful in this direction to talk about this topic within the project, they shared their knowledge and experience. They are here today and I welcome them:
1. Sophio Tabatadze, Lithuania
2. Olga Dalkilic, Turkey
3. Arina Beridze, Turkey

We summarized the project activities in front of the school community, teachers and students. We gave certificates and souvenirs to actively involved teachers and students.

The project "Diversity of Cultures - Bridges of Friendship" was organized at the Lithuanian Culture Center in Tbilisi, where we once again got to know the culture of our friendly country, and at the opening of the "Lithuanian Book Fund" in the Parliamentary Library.

We ended an interesting, diverse and fruitful project with a conference

Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Catalonia, Spain)
Year 7

Hello! We are the Spanish group: fourty-nine Year 7 English students under the coordination of Irene Mundet, German and English teacher at INS Numància, a public secondary school located by Barcelona, Spain.
We joined this project by the end of January, i.e. a little bit later than our partners...

From the very beginning, it was super important to us to integrate the project into our daily routine, specifically into our EFL syllabus at A1-Level. That's the reason why we decided to work both on the TwinSpace and on our official Learning Platform: Google Classroom.

Since Year 7 is the first level at INS Numància, our students had to cope with 2 virtual scenarios: their regular school Classroom and their international TwinSpace with its Pages, TwinBoards and Forums...

After having submitted their parental consent, students started working on their first eTwinning task: reading all teachers' and students' introductions on the TwinSpace and creating their own introduction post.

Creating the Project Logo was super fun!
How do you like Candela Gil's Logo?! She's in 1st A

Although we joined the project after Christmas, we were thankful for all greeting cards on the TwinSpace and some students, for example, Maria Moyano (1st B) created also some New Year messages.

Diversity of Cultures - Bridges of Friendship
TURKEY
Our project's first activity was to create the avatar version of yourself by using padlet. Our students created their avatars and give brief information about themselves to get to know each other. This helped them to engage with each other and they had fun while creating the avatars.
1. Creating avatars
Here's our avatars created by our students;

Second activity was to design a logo that present our project well. Each country designed a logo and the students voted for the best logo that suitable our aims and goals for this project.
2. Designing a logo for the project

This is the logo designed by our students

3. Disscusions, Meetings and Games
Throughout this project, we met monthly with our partners and students via zoom and talked about everything about our cultures. Sometimes we played online quiz games, presented our cuisines and traditions. Also, we tried to learn basic words from each other's language. This way, our students had a chance to learn about different cultures to broaden their horizon. It was so much fun and beneficial.
Here's some photos of our meetings;

4. Learning Lithuanian Dance and Song
Last but not least, we tried to learn Lithuanian Folk dance and one of their songs. Our students was so excited to learn the dance and they did their best. They put together their own costumes for the dance and did their own hair. Our school's teachers, and students loved the dance so much that they wanted us to perform as the opening ceremony for graduation.

Backstage
Students was doing each others hair for the performance.

One of our talented students sang a Lithuanian song.

Our Umay teacher danced with the students for the opening ceremony. It was a great memory for us.
