Normalmente un dentista dice:

Mi dentista favorito, Rafael, dice:

¡Buenos días! Toma asiento.

Abre la boca

Y empieza a trabajar

¡Bienvenida! El día de hoy empezamos a construir tu sonrisa. Ponte cómoda.

Señala la silla y empieza a trabajar

Usually a dentist says:

Good morning! Take a seat, open your mouth

And he starts working

My favorite dentist, Rafael, says:

Welcome! Today we start to build your smile. Get comfortable

He points to the chair and starts working

Mi nombre es Sofía,tengo 10 años y visito al ortodoncista porque necesito ponerme brackets. Estoy un poco nerviosa, pero el doctor me saluda con una sonrisa.

My name is Sofia, I am 10 years old and I visit the orthodontist because my teeth are misaligned and I need to get braces. I'm a little nervous, but the doctor greets me with a smile.

Primero, el ortodoncista toma una radiografía panorámica para ver todos los dientes y planear mi tratamiento.

First, the orthodontist takes a panoramic x-ray to see all of the teeth and plan my treatment.

Después, el doctor usa un espejo bucal para revisarme los dientes. Con el explorador dental, chequea cada diente para asegurarse de que todo está bien.

The doctor then uses a mouth mirror to check my teeth. With the dental explorer, check each tooth to make sure everything is okay.
