There once was a little blue fish. Other fish
ignored him and bullied him just because he
is blue. All he wanted was to fit in with the
other fish. This is the story of his adventure
to become friends with the other fish.

One day, the blue fish asked his teacher for
help. The teacher decided on a certain set of
rules. These rules were that the toys the fish
played with were "separate but equal". But
all the other fish got the better toys!

But I want to play with
the treasure!

Blue fish was sad and just wanted to fit in, luckily a
bigger blue fish was the principle of the school. He
knew how blue fish felt. The bigger blue fish decided
to change the rules, now all blue fish got all the
same toys as the other fish

Separate is not equal!

Hooray!

The other fish still would not listen to the big blue
fish.They didn't let the blue fish play with them in
school. The blue fish were pushed around and
teased. But the 9 blue fish weren't going to give up

Just go away!

We won't give up!

The blue fish could only sit in the back of the school bus. A blue
fish was sitting at the front when another fish asked him to move.
The blue fish refused! The blue fish were starting to stand up for
themselves!

Give me your seat!

No way!

Don't give him your seat!

Some of the blue fishes wanted to eat where the other fishes would. They
asked for food but they weren't served! The fishes refused to leave until
they were served. The other fishes started to bully the blue fish while they
waited. The blue fishes refused to fight back.

Sorry we don't serve blue fish

We won't leave!

Go away!

The blue fish needed to stick together. They created a group
called the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee.
They worked together towards equality. Their secret was to
no use violent to gain what they wanted.

We can do it! Non-violence is
important!

Another group the blue fish formed was the SCLC. This
group was founded by MLK Jr. This group was very
successful in working towards equality. MLK became a very
famous fish.

We are equal!

One day, the blue fish were riding a bus. Other fishes tried to hurt the blue
fishes. The other fish even lit a bus on fire! The leader of the sea sent fish to
protect the blue fish.
