There was once a young girl, her name was Alice.
Alice was sweet, ambitious
and a very curious girl.
2
Alice was studying for her mathtest on integers that she just
couldn't understand when she fell
asleep, and had a weird dream.
3
Alice was in the woods when she stopped at a tree trunk. When she
touched the tree something
magical happen.
4

She found a secret door,
and as she looked
through it she
fell down
the secret passage.
5

6
Alice landed in a curious room. She couldn’t find a way out.
The room was very tall with
white walls.
7
As she looked around she couldn’t find a way out!
Until she found a small door.
The door was very small, so small
Alice couldn’t fit. Alice looked down
to see if there was another way out
when there was a small bottle in
front of her feet.
8
She picked it up and saw a mysterious
looking potion.
9

On the cap of the potion was attached a note. The note read
“Drink Me”
10

Alice looked at the card carefully. She then drank the potion. On the back
of the note it
said “You must
seek the other
exponent law
cards like this
to get back
home"
11
Suddenly, Alice had shrunk into a very very small size. She become the size of
the miniature door.
12
Then once she was able to fit through the door she went
into the forest in front of her.
13
The bunny was attached with glasses, a waistcoat, and
a clock. She had been walking for a
while when one one of the
trees was an animal,
it was a bunny.
14
"You must be Alice, I’m the white rabbit, here to guide you around. You must complete the integer
rules so you can
go back home,
until then
you must stay
with me.”
15
The white rabbit handed Alice a note saying “this is the first exponent law:
Anything to the power of 0 is 1."
16
The white rabbit grabbed a twig and drew the following in
the dirt.

17

The white rabbit looked at his large
clock and decided
it was time to go.
He and Alice went
through the woods
and he said someone was expecting
her.
18
He led Alice into the woods where they found a cat floating in the air.
“Alice, my name is the Cheshire
Cat, I heard you are having
some trouble with your exponent laws
so I'm here to help you with your second law.
19
So here it is, the second law: When multiplying you add the
exponents. Do you understand now?”
“I understand."
With his tail he made a cloud drawing
showing the second law.
20

“I understand!” Alice cheered. “That’s my job.” The cat smiled
and disappeared into mid air.
21
Alice and the white rabbit walked towards a long table. At the head of the table is as man drinking
from a cup of tea. On the sides of the table there
is a hare, a dormouse, they both laugh while
having tea and cake.
22
“Is this Alice, the one with the math problems, get it. I’m the Hatter. Why don’t you take a
seat. This is the Dormouse, and then we have March
Hare.” said the Hatter.
h
23
Alice sat down and in her teacup was another papersaying the third law. The third law she learnt was
taught by the Dormouse. On Alice’s note it said:
hey
