BASED ON A TRUE STORY

Chapter 1

Grandma

Ever since my grandma died, my mom has faced loads of trauma. "Mom, why are you crying? Your making me sad." Said the young son Liam. "Oh Liam, you wont be very happy when you hear about this." The mother held his hand and she hugged him and said. "Your grandma passed away last night, she could not survive the virus." She said. Poor Liam cried "I miss the way the sings, grandma was the best singer ever i'm going to miss her." He said. A few days after, they planned the funeral. "I wish I can see grandma in person, why cant we fly to the Caribbean so we can see her, I do not like doing this on a zoom call." Liam said.

"Listen Liam" the mom said. "I cant fly all the way to the Carribean to see your grandma, you see me and your father do not have enough money to even split and see your grandma, besides you did not even renew your passport yet!" Liam cried and cried and cried so hard just like a river. Over the years Liam got used to it he got more better and matured since last time! But he will always remember his grandma and have him by his side of his heart like shes still here. However, the dad Carl started to act weird and started to ask very unnecessary questions. "Are you dating someone else? Are you seriously going to throw away a 30 year relationship just like that? Because your not getting out of this on my watch!" He said. Days and months went by then her oth   

er son Michael noticed something suspicious going on lately. Every single day they go in the room and talk and ask the same questions as yesterday. "I can not take this anymore what do you mean? Can you possibly not take no for an answer? Are you trying to force me to say yes so you can get your dream and finally beat me up?" Said the mom. Carl stood there silence. He left the room and the older son Michael came up to her saying "Mom is everything okay? I noticed you and dad go in the room everyday and sometimes I even hear yelling and screaming, please tell me if you dont I will not be able to help you, besides I already gratuaded if you need money and you cant get another job, I can help you! I can get a job at Walmart! They pay great money there!" He said.

The mom explained everything about what has been going on recently. Michael was very shocked to hear about all of these things that happend. He told his sister Allison. "Allison you need to help me mom and dad always fight because dad thinks that mom is cheating on him but shes not dad just cant take no for an answer!" "Well what are we supposed to do with Liam? He already has trauma because his grandma died hes going to have more trauma if he finds out about this situation!" Said Allison. "I will figure something out eventually just dont tell Liam anything because I dont want him to be sad." But little did they know, poor Liam was spying in the hallway, shocked and traumatized by what he heard. He wanted to cry so bad but he did not want his family to

find out he was crying but he still bursted into tears because he could not hold it, Allison and Michael saw Liam cry, Allison and Michael both say "Liam are you okay?" Liam lied and said "I got bullied in school, I didnt wanna tell you because you guys would probably think im a loser!" Allison stomped loudly and called the school, Michael told the mom and the mom got really mad and tried contacting the school too.

More months past by and then ONE day, Penny (the mom) and Carl got into a big argument. "Your not in the photo you will never fit in with this family photo" said Penny. Carl did not take that very well, he got up and starting throwing hands. Liam secretly spying on them, wondering if he should tell his parents "If I tell my brother about whats happening, then he would know that I knew about the situation!" Liam made up his decision and went to tell Michael about what's going on with Penny and Carl.
