Ernesto: (entering the room with a worried expression) "Guys, have you seen my $100?"

Joshlady: (smiling and crossing her arms) "Ernesto lost his money again. How many times has it been this week?"

Diego: (looking up from his phone) "I haven’t seen it, but you should try to find it today before it gets harder to track down."

Lewin: (nodding) "Yeah, Ernesto, don’t leave it for tomorrow. You know you’ll forget or someone else will find it."

Diego: (emphasizing) "Exactly, today’s the day!"

Ernesto: (sighing) "You’re right, I’ll look for it right now." (He turns around and quickly leaves the room, anxiously searching everywhere).

While Ernesto is gone, the group continues chatting, occasionally exchanging amused glances about Ernesto’s habit of losing things.

Joshlady: (jokingly) "How much do you want to bet he won’t find the money and will ask us to lend him cash for lunch again?"

Lewin: (laughing) "I don’t know, but he should probably attach a tracker to his bills. We’ve saved him too many times."

Suddenly, Diego, stretching his legs near the couch, notices something on the floor.

Diego: (with a surprised expression) "Oh! Look! Here’s the money." (He picks up the $100 bill that was half-hidden under the edge of a chair).

Lewin: (raising an eyebrow) "Should we give it to Ernesto? You know how he is; he’ll probably lose it again."

Joshlady: (shrugging) "Why not? Poor guy, he’s always in his own world. It would be worse if someone else found it."

Ernesto comes back into the room, visibly frustrated.

Ernesto: (disheartened) "I haven’t found the money. I’ve looked everywhere! I think I lost it for good."

Diego: (smiling and handing him the bill) "Relax, Ernesto. Here’s your money."

Ernesto: (surprised and relieved) "Thanks, thanks so much! I don’t know what I’d do without you guys."
