The battle of bulge
It’s a cold day in Bulge. The Germans march in the
snowy terrain expecting an attack. Covered in thick snow the Americans wait for their prey silently. When the Germans get close enough the allies start firing their machine guns and sniper rifles killing some Germans but the ones still alive fire with no mercy. The Americans have another round of firing but it barely does anything. The German leader sends the tanks into the front so the Americans can't hit the advancing enemies. The tanks roll over the trenches at the front. Some of the allies hide
behind the rubble all around the battlefield. One team hides behind a destroyed building with two bazookas which they fire at the tanks. After more fighting the allies retreat back across a bridge which they explode so the enemies can't cross. The allies then fire from the trees all around making the Germans finally give up. In the end the Americans lost 81,000 men and the Germans lost 100,000 soldiers. The story I wrote was only part of the real battle of bulge.Down below is a real photo of the battle of bulge.

The bombing of pearl harbour
It's been 3 years since world war two started. So far America has done nothing about the fighting until one day… back at pearl harbour the air raid sirens go nuts. Lieutenant Christian looks up and sees a fleet of Japanese planes flying toward the harbour. There are every plane imageable torpedo bombers, fighters, and the worst kamikazes. The kamikazes are pilots with planes filled with bombs. They have been trained to crash into ships even if it kills them. The americans run to their planes trying to take flight. Two men finally get into the sky and chase the Japanese with bombs still in their planes. They shoot down 67 bombers and fighters but they couldn’t hit one kamikaze which falls towards its target. On the ship Arizona the men run to their guns and fire. Bullets miss the target and the plane meets the ship. There is a catastrophic boom and the ship falls into the cold water Many lives were just lost.Another kamikaze goes for another ship the men on board brace for impact… Luck was for them and the plane bounced off the railings
leaving a mark. This event made the Amiricans start fighting in the war.The war finally ended after 6 years of nonstop killing

The battle of el alamein
In their trenches the allies waited not dearing to make a noise. Suddenly, they hear a rumble. One man looks up and to his horror he sees many German panzers [tanks] heading towards the soldiers. He shouts out “GERMAN TANKS”. The men run around getting to position as the tanks roll closer and closer. When the panzers got
close enough the men fire their anti-tank guns on the germans. One tank is hit but the others roll keep inching forward. The men shoot german soldiers that walk with but it barely does anything. The panzers roll over the first trench then the second and finally the third. The tanks keep rolling ford but then they come face to face with lots of allied
tanks.Tanks from both sides start firing. There are explosions everywhere as debris comes from wrecked shermans [American tanks] and panthers[German tanks]. Then finally the Germans put up a white flag to surrender. At the end the allies lost 13,250 men out of 150,000. The Germans lost 10,000 out of 96,000.The story I wrote was only one of the 3 battles of el alamein.
The battle of omaha beach
It’s a quiet night at Omaha beach. The Germans get ready in their boxes waiting for the invasion. On the ocean the Americans,Canadians, and British get ready to drop the door on their landing vessels.Above the boats There are many planes ready to drop paratroopers, soldiers who jump from planes in parachutes. When the vessels get close to shore, they opened the doors and charge forward.Without waiting the Germans fire hitting some bullets hitting their targets.
Some of the soldiers get onto the beach and try to hide behind wiring. One group throws a grenade into a German box to make it explode. The Germans retreat back a bit which the allies use to their advantage and get to the top of the mountain. They push the Germans back more and at sunrise the Germans surrender. In the end the allies lost over 4,000 men and the Germans lost 6,000 of their soldiers as well. The code name from the battle of Omaha was D-day.

THe Battle Of Britain
It's April the 16th in the city of britain. German soldiers use the darkness to their advantage.around patrolling the area. Suddenly, German planes fly over the town. Forty six m110s and bf109 race down from the clouds. Their guns blaze as three hundred calibre bullets rip through soldiers and windows.
When the British finally load they're anti-aircraft guns, they fire at the jerrys[ what the British called the Germans] . On the ground the germans soldiers use this time to sneak into the city. Behind the Germans are tiger 1s, a type of tank that could destroy most tanks in one shot.
Suddenly, out of nowhere Sherman fireflies tanks roll around a corner. The crews in the Sherman fireflies load their tanks and hit one of the Tiger 1s but it doesn't do much. Then it's the Germans' turn to fire. They destroy one allied tank in two hits. But before the British can fire any more shots the Germans shoot and destroy the rest of their tanks.
Back in the sky, British spitfires come racing at the allies. The sky is filled with lead as bullets hit both sides. A German breaks free from the dog fight and flies over the city dropping its bombs on a British bunker. The plane turns back, turning around and heading for enemy land. Then a spitfire pilot sees the german and turns to fire at it. The helpless bf109 pilot watches as bullets rip the plane apart. Then the plane crashes into a cornfield below.
Then over the radio comes a German pilot screaming “hurricanes”. Pilots lookup and to their horror 26 hurricanes race at them from the clouds. Pieces of aluminium fly everywhere as planes get ripped to pieces.
One spitfire goes behind the me 110 thinking that the german plane is going down but the back gun fires at the spit and destroys it.
On the ground the tanks roll ford and then out of the blue gun fire comes from the buildings and hits the tanks strong armour. The Germans move their turrets to face the buildings then fire, giving no mercy. When the bullets stop firing the buildings have been turned to rubble.
Civilians look from their windows and cheer as German planes fall from the sky. Some pilots are wondering if they are going to be the next plane that falls from the sky. Then there was a blood curling boom as two planes hit each other killing both pilots. A Brit turns his plane up then nose dives down on a me 110 destroying the German in seconds. Then a chain reaction of german planes. Amazingly, only one Brit is shot down with the axis pilots soon the sky is filled with dozens of parishoots from both sides.
As the battle in the sky rages on, the tanks on the ground run into a problem because when they turn the corner they come
face to face with british comet tanks, british matilda tanks, and more sherman fireflies.
The allies jump into their tanks and open fire on the two German tiger 1s. The first shot is from a German but then the Brits fire back and blow off the turret of one of the tigers. The tiger left still standing surrenders not waiting to be the next destroyed tank.
As the battle on the ground finishes the one in the sky still rages on. More spits fly in for backup and shoot down more bf 109s and me 110s which crash into fields below. Soon there are only 7 German planes left in the sky. Most Raf chaps leave and fly back to the runway but still there are 14 left behind to
destroy. It doesn't take long to destroy the 7 planes left since there’s 14 brits and within 5 minutes there are no german planes left in the sky
The British won the battle of Britain after destroying tons of German planes.

The Battle Of Atlantic
The Battle of the Atlantic began mere hours after Britain declared war on Germany in September 1939, and would last until Germany’s surrender in May 1945. This extensive naval engagement between Allied, Axis, and neutral forces constituted the longest single operation of World War II (WWII), and was the longest, largest, and most complex naval battle in history (Syrett 1994). Civilians, sailors, soldiers, marines, and coast guardsmen engaged in combat, and in turn gave their lives, in a dire struggle for seapower in the Atlantic. Retired Royal Navy escort group commander, Donald MacIntyre (1961), wrote of the battle‘s importance to the entire Allied war effort. He could not have been more correct. The flow of war materials into Great Britain via the Atlantic was the lifeline of the Allied war effort against Germany, and Germany nearly severed it.
Though the Battle of the Atlantic was not witness to spectacular fleet engagements like those fought in the Pacific, it was nonetheless of supreme strategic importance. At stake was the last bastion of resistance in Europe to Hitler’s dreadful war machine. German Admiral Karl Doenitz correctly identified the western Atlantic as the weakest segment in the supply system that kept Great Britain fighting. Doenitz was acutely aware of the strategic conditions along the eastern seaboard of the United States. It would take the Americans some time to organize convoys, build ships, and be able to effectively combat U-boats in their waters, so the decision was made to exploit these weaknesses.

Doenitz was also aware time was crucial as these circumstances were unlikely to persist, stating it was of primary importance to “take full advantage of the favorable situation as quickly as possible and with all available forces, before the anticipated changes occurred” (Doenitz 1959:196). When the U-boats arrived off the east coast of America, they were overwhelmed by the sight the American coast presented them. America did not appear to be at war, ships continued to cruise about unescorted, fully lighted and starkly silhouetted by city lights. By staying submerged during the day and coming to the surface at night, the U-boats were able to cruise the sea-lanes of America unhindered, laying mines and torpedoing vessels as they went (Botting 1979:130; Freeman 1987:27).
In a campaign known to the Germans as “The American Shooting Season,” the U-boats “enjoyed for a time a veritable Eldorado, and their successes rose to undreamed-of figures—in six-and-a-half months, over 2,500,000 tons… Targets were so plentiful that it was more often lack of torpedoes than shortage of fuel which compelled the U-boats to turn for home” The initial wave of U-boats deployed in Operation Paukenschlag consisted of just six vessels deployed between December 16 and 25 1941, arriving off the East Coast in mid-January 1942. This is far fewer than Doenitz had hoped. So it was that with a small number of U-boats on this first foray, enormous successes were achieved. Following America’s entry into WWII, German U-boat raiders attacked merchant shipping off the United States’ east coast with astonishing success.
What ensued came to be known as the ‘American turkey shoot,’ with nearly 200 merchant vessels sunk between January and April of 1942 (Cheatham 1990).This was inaugurated by Germany‘s initial offensive, code named Operation Paukenschlag, or ‘Operation Drumbeat.’ This “Atlantic Pearl Harbor” was the prelude to nearly five months of unchecked German commerce raiding on the East Coast (Gannon 1990). Slowly, though, combined Allied naval forces resisted and ultimately forced the withdrawal of German forces haunting American waters.
