Zeurcules was sitting on his throne on Mount Olympus, watching over the mortals to punish the ones who did wrong. As he was watching over the mortals, he saw a Sphinx, which wasn’t the animal you would want to meet, climbing up the road of Mount Olympus. Zeurcules started to look for a hiding place which he hid under his bed but that was a foolish idea of him knowing that Sphinxes have a good sense of smell and can detect certain people.

As expected, the Sphinx found Zeurcules and started to taunt and torment him because he had nothing better to do. Zeurcules tried acting like he wasn’t affected by the words of the Sphinx, but the Sphinx knew his weak spots and soon enough Zeurcules snapped.

Gray clouds formed all around the sky as the Sphinx ran away. Down below on the surface stood the confused mortals wondering why the sky was so sad looking. Soon there was a big boom and then another one as streaks of light traveled across the sky. Rain from the clouds was coming down into the mouths of the mortals as they thought the rain tasted salty like someone was crying. There were mortals running around everywhere trying to seek cover from the strange things happening in the sky.

Zeurcules was only getting angrier, booms were getting louder, and the light was getting brighter. As a young mortal, who was a boy, was seeking shelter a big light came down, electrocuting him, “AHHHH!” he screamed as parts of his body were sizzling from the electrocution. Another mortal came up, who was a girl, went to go check up on the boy and asked, “Are you alright?” The boy replied, “Does it look like I’m okay? My body is literally sizzling right now!”

Nearby, the Owl of Wisdom saw all the mayhem going on and based off of what was going on in the sky he knew it was Zeurcules. The Owl started flying up to Mount Olympus where Zeurcules had been having a tantrum and trying to calm him down. Since the Owl is full of wisdom he lectured to Zeurcules, “It is fine to let out your emotions, but don’t let them take over you, and act such a fool, boy!” Zeurcules replied angrily, “The Sphinx is the only foolish one because he came at me for no absolute reason.” The Owl said, “Well yes that was very foolish of the Sphinx, but it was also foolish of that tantrum of yours, acting as mad as a bull. Don’t let other people control your emotions like that and calm down.”
