The Botanical Garden is situated in the north-east side of Jibou, on the second bank of Someș River.

HISTORY:
The establishment of the city center coincides with the 16th century AD. It was recorded in the sources as Bozok in the 1560s. The name Bozok was given by the Bozok Turkmens who started to settle here in the 16th century. The name Yozgat was given by the decision of the Turkish Grand National Assembly in 1927. The fact that the history of the Yozgat City Center is very new does not mean that Yozgat and its surroundings were not inhabited in ancient times. In fact, the region has been inhabited from very ancient times to the present day.

GEOGRAPHY OF OUR CİTY:
Yozgat to Sivas from the east; Kayseri, Nevşehir, Kırşehir from the south; Kırıkkale from the west; It is surrounded by Amasya, Çorum and Tokat provinces from the north and is located between 34º 05' - 36º 10' eastern meridians and 38º 40' - 40º 18' northern parallels. It is 1300 meters above sea level and has 1 412 300 Hectares of land. It ranks 15th among 81 provinces in terms of land width. The height of the province decreases as you move from east to west.

Denizli is a city located in the Aegean Region of Turkey and attracts attention with its natural beauties, historical riches and industrial development. It is believed that it takes its name from the wide sea-like waters around it.
Denizli rooster, one of the symbols of Denizli, is famous for its long and beautiful crowing. There is also a statue representing this rooster in the city.


Denizli is famous for its Pamukkale travertines, which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. These natural terraces, formed with white calcium carbonate deposits, are a source of healing with their thermal waters. Additionally, the Ancient City of Hierapolis, located right next to Pamukkale, is worth seeing with its temples, theater and necropolis from the Roman period.



Slow-cooked, crispy-edged lamb meat is served with fresh bread and side dishes. A presentation enriched with traditional Turkish elements is also available. It is recommended to eat without using fork and spoon :)
