Once upon a time, there were 4 close pals who were always together namely Luca, Max, Leo, and Andre.

They four went to the same university in Kitas, a modest land that was not so far away from their homes.

Their proximity led them to the same language class, where they received the same language lessons and assignments.

Everyone, you are ought to create a storybook telling about social issues around you. You are given two weeks to work on it. The one who gets the highest score will receive a special prize from me.

Although they seemed inseparable, each of them had a different motivation for completing the task.

I will do it later, cause I still have two weeks.
Luca loved language lessons and even had the best skills among his friends. However, he always postponed his assignments, spending most of his time at home playing games. Because of this, he was called a Procrastinator.

This assignment is important for me, and I want to do my best.
Max was not academically promising, but he believed in challenge and really valued the assignment and the time given. Every night, he read, looked for inspirations, and worked on his storybook, because he truly cared about his progress. Because of this, he can be called as an Identified Regulator.
If I don't make it good, everyone will think I'm lazy.
Leo was an Introjected Regulator. He worked hard, but not because he wanted to, but because he feared embarrassment and disappointing his lecturers and friends if he gets poor grades. As a result, he worked on his storybook without truly enjoy working on it.

I'll do just enough to get the grades and hopefully the prize.
Andre, the externally regulated, only cared about the grades and the prize. He did not like to do assignments that polish creativity. He rushed through his chores without cares.

Two weeks had passed. it was time to distribute the storybooks and receive its grades.
Every students eagerly awaited the grades' announcement and their hearts were filled with curiosity of who would get the prize.
