Swish! the ball went through the net.
Aaron dribbled the ball thinking how he
could meet his dreams one day. His parents
encouraged him a lot since he was their only
child.

"Dear Students, the school is being
invaded by bears. Please go to your
teachers until the Animal Control takes
care of it," the school speakers blared.
Aaron wasn't too worried, he knew his
boarding school had good security.

When he got out of the gym, he tried
looking for his teacher. However, most of
the rooms were locked. Panic struck him, he
ran looking for an open door. The Principal's
office was his final destination. Trembling,
he hides under the table. After a few
minutes, he stood up and pulled the cupboard
to keep his balance. Folders flew out in slow
motion, Aaron screamed as the folders
scattered out onto the floor.

As he was sorting out the folders, he
saw a folder with his name. He curiously
picked it up. The first page was blank. On
the second page, with his picture it said:
Adopted by Camilla and Luiz.

Adopted
Aaron was shocked, he had no idea he
was adopted. How could my parents do this
to me? The school announced that the
coast is clear. Aaron, sad and depressed
decides to go home.

Where are you going?Home
When Aaron got home, he didn't have
the keys. Then suddenly, he remembered
the keys under the front door mat. He
entered the house and furiously packed his
clothes.

Before running away, Aaron thought
that he should let his parents know. So, he
wrote a note saying that he found out he
was adopted and he's leaving. He runs
away...

Step by step, he slowly walked away
from his "family". Confused and mad, he
gloomily roamed around the streets. He saw
families happily passing by, "Why can't my
life be like that?" he wondered.

The world spun around, feeling a bit
dizzy, he sat down on a nearby bench.
Leaves danced around him, as if whispering
"Don't give up Aaron, you'll find the key to
happiness soon." Aaron didn't know what to
do. He was very tired.
