Long, long ago in Antarctica there were two polar bears. One is big and his name is Bob. The other one is small and her name is Mia.  

Mia does not like Bob because he is mean to everyone. Mia likes to play by herself. Bob is mean and scary. Mia is nice and shy. 

One day Mia was playing outside when she saw Bob. He looked scary so Mia looked away and kept playing. Bob started to come towards Mia, she got scared and ran away 

Mia saw a pile of snow and hid inside it. Bob could not find Mia. She waited for Bob to leave before she came out of her hiding place. When she finally came out of the snow pile she realized the snow was stuck to her. 

Mia ran home and took a shower the snow still did not come off. The next day Mia goes to play outside. She realizes that she blends in with the snow and Bob cannot see her. 

Mia goes to tell all of the other polar bears how to turn white so they can also blend in with the snow and hide from predators.  

All of the other polar bears do as Mia says, "They all turned white.". This is how polar bears became white.
