This fairy tale is dedicated to all those people who have not been able to fulfill their dreams, please have faith in yourself, you will achieve it no matter how difficult the road is.

Once upon a time, in the bustling city of Everston, there lived a young woman named Ella Ashworth. She was not your typical fairy tale princess, but she had a kind heart, an unyielding work ethic, and dreams bigger than the high-rise buildings that surrounded her. Unfortunately, her life wasn’t as glamorous as the city skyline. Ever since her father passed away, she was burdened with endless chores while her stepsisters enjoyed lives of leisure. Yet, she found solace in baking, pouring her heart into creating desserts that captured the magic of her imagination.

One sunny afternoon, a year before the city’s prestigious culinary gala, Ella had been working at Make your cake, a bakery where customers could craft their own cakes. A young man named Alex entered, looking completely out of his element. After a few minutes of frustration and batter-covered fingers, he sighed in defeat.
Ella, noticing his struggle, approached him with a kind smile. “Need some help?”
Alex looked up, embarrassed but grateful. “You could say that. I’m hopeless at this.”
Ella chuckled softly. “It’s not that bad. Here, you can have mine. I just finished it.”
His eyes widened. “Are you sure? That’s so kind of you.”
She nodded. “Of course. It’s for someone special, right?”
Alex smiled warmly. “Yeah, for my grandmother. It’s her birthday. Thank you... You’re amazing.”
Ella blushed but shrugged it off. “Enjoy it. She’ll love it.”
They exchanged no names, yet the moment lingered in Alex’s mind long after he left.

A year later, Ella’s life hadn’t changed much. She was still under her stepmother’s control, sneaking time to bake whenever she could.
“Ella! Make my matcha latte extra hot this time,” Bianca barked one morning, scrolling through her phone.
“And don’t forget my oat milk cappuccino,” Ava chimed in, without so much as a glance.
“Coming right up,” Ella said, forcing a smile as she prepared their drinks.
Despite the constant demands, Ella dreamed of opening her own bakery one day—a place where she could finally showcase her talent for crafting exquisite desserts. But between managing the shop and dealing with her stepfamily, her dream seemed as far away as the stars.

One fateful day, a flyer changed everything.
“Annual Culinary Gala: A Night of Sweet Dreams”
The event was hosted by Alex Prince, a billionaire philanthropist known for supporting small businesses. The winner of the gala’s dessert competition would receive a grant to start their own bakery. Ella’s heart skipped a beat.
“Absolutely not,” Vivian said when Ella showed her the flyer. “You don’t have time for silly dreams. The shop comes first.”
“But—”
“No buts, we will come back by midnight and you better be here,” Vivian snapped.
Ella sighed and returned to work. However, later that evening, she received an unexpected visitor: her quirky godmother, Marcy.
Marcy smirked. “That’s where you’re wrong.” She opened the box to reveal the latest in AI culinary technology. “This bad boy can help you bake like never before,” Marcy said.
