CHAPTER 1

        The first                sighting

Thunder crashes with rain falling heavily,

Headlights follow an old path to a radio station in a fenced area.

Signs rusted and wrecked only saying “warning, siren…”

The man in the car got out and started to go inside the radio station with the sound of trees falling in the distance.

The man was trying to stop something,

Something big.

He pulled out a computer from a briefcase, and started typing a code, “236y4hd7.”

As the trees fell, a siren started up.

The man was now worrying about what was coming.

He stopped typing and closed the computer, and put it in the briefcase.

He started to make his way to the door, he got outside and then got into the car.

He started to leave the parking lot, when he saw something that caught his eye, two sirens in the trees.

Then a tree fell onto his car, and the man was stuck in the car.

Then the car was lifted into the air.

And then the man fell out of the car and then…

A couple of weeks later his wife started worrying and called the cops.

The man was on the news on Sunday.

People were trying to figure out what happened to the man.

The only clue was “power house 1.”

Cops investigated the seine, only a smashed car and fallen trees were left.

The cops found one last piece of evidence was the briefcase and the computer.

The chief looked through the computer and found something that sent shivers down the chief's spine.

The chief told the cops to set cameras all over the forest.

As the sun went down the cops waited in a van next to the radio station.

Rain fell even harder than last night, but there was no thunder flashing across the sky.

The cops waited to see if they could get any footage of the thing.

But no luck.

Then the chief told everyone that it was just the tree that killed him.

Then they left.

The next morning, a man named Mack headed out to the forest to hunt.

He had a sniper and a crossbow ready.

He thought he could shoot some deer and then head home.

          THE                 HUNTING
