Aaron and Eric are brothers walking down the street together, talking about their favorite shows, when Jason walks up to them. "Guys! I heard that the mansion around the street is haunted! I'm too scared to check it out though. "Woah!" said Aaron. "That sounds INSANE! Eric, we should go in there with cameras, and RECORD THE GHOST!" "That would be SO COOL!" Said Eric, "LET'S DO IT!" "Are you sure?" Asked Jason. "Of course!" Aaron shouted excitedly.

And so, Aaron and Eric set off home to get snacks and a flashlight, and waited until night. They asked their mom if they could go, very hopeful that she would say yes.

"Of course you can! Just make sure to stay together, and come back before midnight!" "Thanks, Mom!" They both say. 

So Eric and Aaron left the house, and walked their way down the dark, foggy street to the Whisperwood Manor. 

"Even the name sounds scary" Said Eric, "yeah, I wonder what we'll find in there" Aaron said. The brothers then turn around the corner, and they see it. The mansion. It towers high over the other homes, on top of a small hill, with fog crowding around it, making it much more creepy. "Let's go check it out, see if it's locked."

said Aaron, "OK, I'll go" Eric responded. They walked over to the door and knocked, nobody answered, "OK, nobody's home, let's go in." Surprisingly, the door wasn't locked. They both walk in and look around, Around them are paintings of people they didn't recognize on the walls, "who are they?" Eric asked. "I have no idea" Aaron said. They take a few more steps into the manor and look around.

They decide to walk farther, and then Eric realizes something, "We forgot the camera! How are we going to record the ghost!?" "I'll get it! Stay here!" said Aaron. Aaron rushed out and ran towards their house to get it. 10 minutes later, Aaron makes it home, he dashes into the kitchen and finds his camera, he takes it and darts out the door as fast as he can, running full sprint back to the mansion, but he is tired after all of that running, and needs to walk the rest of the way back.

Meanwhile at the mansion...

"Hello?" Eric said. As Eric walked down the hall of the manor, he felt like he was being watched. he pulled his flashlight out and looked around, then he saw why. The paintings were looking at him. Eric walked to the side, and the eyes FOLLOWED. Now Eric was terrified, he ran to the door to leave, but it was locked.

That was when he heard it. A voice behind him said, "Hello young man. What are you doing here?" Eric was terrified, he slowly turned around, and saw the ghost. He was a formal man wearing a suit and tie, but he was blurry, no, he was transparent! "Who are you?" Eric asked the ghost. "I am the owner of this mansion here, and YOU are trespassing!"  Eric responded, "I-I was just looking around, I d-didn't realize-" Eric was cut off suddenly "If you want to leave, you must complete the challenge!"

"What challenge? Eric asked the ghost. Just then he disappeared, and in his place, a huge garden with all sorts of weird looking plants appeared. "You must find the key, and unlock the door, in there will be the key to escape" Eric heard the ghost say. Eric was looking everywhere, through the soil, under the flowers and other plants, but found no key. The darkness made it even harder to look for it.
