“My name…” I stammer. “Is Jack.” I stare at my feet. How
did I get myself stuck here!?
He roars, “TELL ME MORE!!” I look up at his red, fiery face.
Then I look down at my dusty tennis shoes, “I live on
Lime Street, London and I have a sister and parents.”,
“Also, I have a dog, Max…, I miss him.” I think about
how everyone that loves me must be missing me just as
much as I miss them. I take a quick peek at him. He has
a piece of paper in his hand. Then I fully raise my head. I
see him cry. His tears sizzling as they run down his burning
skin. I start to cry too. He sets his hand on the floor and
motions for me to come. With my brain not knowing what to do I
leave my feet to make the decision. My feet choose to run, run to his
rough, scaly hands.

As my feet kept the pace I shriek, “Stop right now you foolish feet! I
let you pick but…” Screech! At last my feet listen to me. Oh, wait
they didn’t listen to me! The only reason my feet decide to stop was
because at this moment I was about one inch from the monstrous
hand. I climb on and touch his scales with my bare hands. It feels
soft and… COLD?! I slip my shoes off and throw them on the hard
ground. They sizzle and the fume climbs up to the roof of the big
cave.

ƒlashback…
Lick, lick, lick I wake up. I look at my dog who totally has made
my face drip with saliva. “Max!” He keeps licking me! Right when I
shout at him he sits down and whines. “You’re hungry boy, aren’t you?”
I pat him on his head. He runs downstairs and barks to me. “Comin’
boy!” I slide down the rail. When I get downstairs Max is sitting next to
my plate on the table where his bowl sits. “Oh Max, you’re the best dog
ever! I’ll never leave you!” He licks his bowl. “Ok, ok” I pick his bowl up
and bring it to the cabinet. I pour his food in. Off the corner of my eye I
see him lick his lips. “Here boy” I place his bowl on the table and he
starts licking it. Then I go back to the cabinet and grab my cereal.
“You, know Max, I just love weekends! I’m so glad today is Saturday!” I
thought I heard someone U-Huh me but no one except for Max and I
were at the house. By the way, Max is a half Golden Retriever half
Border Collie. I sat down next to Max and started chomping down.
Suddenly I heard a knock on the door. But wait, Mom is at work ‘till
10:30pm and Dad is golfing with his friends in Hawaii and we live in
London!

I creeped my way to the door, cracked it open and saw nothing
except for a cell-phone on the cement floor. It ringed like a coo-coo bird
on a clock that was malfunctioning! I picked it up, opened it and,
“Hello” I said. A strange familiar voice responded, “ Oh Ziggy! You
haven’t called me in a while. Where have you been? Jack just left and…”
I interrupt this ‘person’. I think I know who this is, but how? I cross my
fingers hoping that I am wrong I say, “ Mmmmmax!? Is that you? Are
you actually ttttalking?” I hear a big sigh on the other side, “ Of course
you silly, billy! Why wouldn’t I be? I mean, ain't I the only one with a
owner called Jack Allport? Of course I am! So when do you want to
meet?” I slowly walk to the sofa where I last saw Max. I poke my head
through the door and watch as my dog chats away through the phone. I
look at him with my mouth wide open. He looks at me and whines like
he always does. But this time it looks like he really meant it. “I...I I’m
sorry Jack”

I was knocked out and woke up in a dark, damp cave. I saw a desk
in front of me, but when I tried to stand up I couldn’t. I was chained up to
the wall and my hand were bleeding and I was scared. For once I actually
was scared. I couldn’t help it, so I cry. I look at the desk again and see a
strange and odd creature. “Excuse me…” I whine with my cracky voice. “
Huh!? Oh hi you woke up. So I’ve heard that you…” He continues “ Oh I’m
sorry we only lock up the naughty earthlings!” “What..what do you mean
EARTHlings? Aren’t you from earth?” I say. “Oh no. That would be silly! Do
I look like one?” he walks from behind his desk, a real alien comes out, he
has green skin and a bald head. Just like every earthling has imagined a
alien would look like. “ Yeah, uhuh! You sure don't like a earthling! Oh by
the way the name is Jack Allport. Your name?” I think I’m starting to feel
better. “Erger. Erger is my name. Can you tell me why you are here.
Usually people are here because of their pets. A.k.a secret agents” He
grins and makes a face like 'Your dog huh?' So I nod, "Yes, my dog. Max. I
guess I'm here because I saw him talk, correct?" He nods. He looks sad
but I don't know why. He snaps his fingers and poof! I'm gone just like
that.
