Two In One body

About the Author

Hi, my name is Jonrie Koskey. My family 

includes a mom, dad, little sister, and two 

trouble making kitties! Some of my hobbies 

include swimming, dancing and acting. I have 

been interested in conjoined twins for awhile, 

how it happens and how it works. 

Once there was a family who was not the same as 

other families. Like most families they had a mom, 

dad, and children but two of them were different.

What made the family different was the two oldest 

girls, Angel-Lee and Grace. They were conjoined 

from the arm to the waist at birth.

The family lived in a house that was not like the 

rest. Their house was made so that Angel-Lee and 

Grace could fit through the front door.

Angel-Lee and 

Grace went to 

Longnose Middle 

School just like all 

the other kids in 

their grade. Like 

all schools, there 

were bullies!

The worst bullies were Ben and his gang. They 

were the enemies of Angel-Lee and Grace and a 

real pain.

Everyday Ben and his 

gang would push Angel-

Lee and Grace. With a 

loud crash and hard 

thump, Angel-Lee and 

Grace were on the 

ground. This hurt more 

then their bodies, it hurt 

their hearts like a bee 

sting. 

When the girls came home from 

school, they would think to 

themselves "I hate being a creepy 

crippled conjoined twin. I wish I 

were normal." 

This thought would continue throughout the week. 

The only time when this terrible thought would 

stop would be on Saturday; the one day of the 

week when Angel-Lee and Grace felt wanted in 

this world. This is where they felt safe.

Every Saturday they would meet up with their friends 

at the Amazing Disabilities club. Here kids and adults 

with a disability could hang out and not be bullied. 

This Saturday they went to a Flower group concert.

Suddenly the door sprang open and then 

immediately slammed shut. Three mean guys 

appeared, it was Ben and the gang!
