About The Author

Kaitlynn Gagnon is a 12 year old girl that 

attends school at Mosinee Middle School in 

Mosinee WI. She   enjoys to go fishing with  

her dad, playing volleyball, and going 

swimming. She has three brothers and one 

sister Ethan, Aiden, Skylar, and Anna. Her 

parents names are Heidi and Justin.

It was Josie and her twin sister Ashlee's first day at a new 

school, they were just going into second grade and they 

were happy but kind of nervous. Here comes the bus.

Once Josie and Ashlee found a spot on the bus 

they looked around to see if they could make some 

friends. They turned around to see a girl with 

golden blond hair her name is Vanessa and the 

first thing she said to them was "get away you two 

headed monster." So Josie and Ashlee just turned 

around and kept quiet for the rest of the ride.

After the ride that felt like it took forever Josie and Ashlee 

finally got to school. Once they found their way to their 

lockers they dropped off their lunchboxes and backpacks 

and headed to their classroom.

After Mrs.K introduced herself the girls got assigned their 

seats they sat next to a girl and a boy. The girls name was 

Brittany and the boys name was Henry. The four kids 

started to talk to each other and work on projects together 

until it was time for lunch and class was over.

Once Josie and Ashlee got their lunchboxes out of their locker 

Josie, Ashlee, Brittany, and Henry all walked down to the lunch 

room and found a table to sit at. But since Brittany and Henry 

didn't pack a lunch they went up and got   a hot lunch. So while 

they were getting their lunches Josie and Ashlee sat down and 

started to eat. They both took a bite of their sandwiches and the 

lettuce inside made a huge CRUNCH. Once they picked up their 

heads they saw a shadow behind them and they thought it was 

Brittany and Henry but it wasn't it was Vanessa and as soon as 

she saw them turn around she yelled in their ears "you're weird 

and not normal."
