We worked together to create these fables. Enjoy!
Hello! We are students from France, Greece, and Italy.

Welcome to Our Book of Fables!
This booklet brings together a collection of fables written by students from different countries. Each story was created with imagination, teamwork, and a message to inspire. We hope you enjoy reading these tales as much as we enjoyed creating them!
How did we create this book?
Each country chose a symbolic animal to represent their nation: the wolf for Italy, the rooster for France, and the dolphin for Greece. First, students drew the animal of each other's country: Italy drew the rooster, Greece the wolf, and France the dolphin. Then, each nation presented their national animal, explaining its symbolism. After this creative exchange, students began writing the fable. They worked collaboratively, with each group contributing a part of the story that features their national animal.

Let’s introduce our characters, drawn and voted as the best by our students! France drew the dolphin, Italy the rooster, and Greece the wolf.
Here’s how they look like:

Our First Fable
This first fable was created through the collaboration of the following students: Francesco, Miriam, Rita, Pietro, and Claudio (Italy); Cléa, Kenza, Anna, Gabin, Jade, Valentin, Constant, and Kim (France); Konstantina, Christos, Paraskevas, Margarita-Alex, and Alexandros (Greece).
Together, they brought their creativity and ideas to life in this unique European story.

THE RESCUE OF THE DOLPHIN
One day, a dolphin got caught in a net.
He wanted to ask for help but he couldn't because his mouth was sealed. Since the rooster was near the sea, he saw the dolphin and began to sing to attract attention.
The wolf, with his big ears, heard the rooster and went over to him.
The rooster saw the wolf, so he was very scared!

The rooster ran away, but the wolf caught him. The wolf was, in fact, kind! He didn't want to eat the rooster. He just wanted to help the dolphin.
That's why, they looked for a bear who owned a magic carpet. But on their way, they got into a big storm, and the magic carpet lost its magic power. However, they didn't give up!

The wolf, the rooster, and the dolphin reached an island with a glowing tree. The tree whispered, "True magic is inside you".
So, the wolf bit the net, the rooster pecked it, and the dolphin pushed with all his strength. At last, the net broke, and the dolphin was free!
They were all happy. They had done it without magic!
You don't need magic when you have courage, kindness, and friends.

Our Second Fable
This second fable was created through the collaboration of the following students: Fabiola, Silvana, Nathan, Giuseppe, and Ginevra (from Italy); Inna and Abby, Flore and Lola, Ayoub and Maxence, Solène and Ninon (from France); Lefteris, Tania, Nikos-Marios, and Elion (from Greece).
Their teamwork and imagination helped bring another beautiful story to life.

AN UNEXPECTED FRIENDSHIP
One day a wolf was hungry and decided to go to a farm to steal some food. At one point he came across a rooster, who frightened, said: "Please don't eat me, I have a whole life ahead of me!" The wolf looked at him angrily and took him. The rooster said : "Help, help", but the wolf did not let him go. What is more, the wolf went and threw the rooster into the ocean. As the rooster was about to fall into the water a dolphin came out of the ocean.

As he was falling, the rooster thought that the dolphin would eat him. At that moment he began to notice, but he did not know that dolphins are the most intelligent creatures after humans. When he fell into the water, the dolphin saved him. From that day on, the two became close friends. They laughed, played and looked out for each other.
The wolf, though, wasn’t finished. He started chasing the dolphin. At that moment the rooster appeared, he bit the wolf and saved the dolphin. The wolf swore to take revenge on the rooster.

Some day later while the dolphin and the rooster were playing at the water's edge, they saw the wolf coming, so the rooster got scared and ran off very quickly into a nearby forest. The wolf saw the dolphin and recognized it. But this time the dolphin wasn’t alone. The rooster returned and stood beside his friend. Together they faced the wolf down!
Realizing he was outmatched by their loyalty and bravery, the wolf finally turned and disappeared into the trees.
Being kind and brave helps you make good friends and stay safe.

Our Third Fable
This third fable was created through the collaboration of the following students: Lorenzo, Asia, Giusy, and Stefano (from Italy); Sasha and Anton, Clémentine and Lilou, Maëlys and Ethan, Enorah and Elsa (from France); Giannis, Vasiliki-Giota, Mariza-Michaela, and Paris-Mirto (from Greece).
Together, they made another imaginative and meaningful story.

THE BEACH OF FRIENDSHIP
Once upon a time, a rooster named Red and a dolphin named Splash lived in a small coastal village.
Red ruled the barnyard, while Splash played in the sparkling sea nearby.
One day, Red saw a big wave in the sea.
“Oh no!” said Red. “My friend Splash is out there!”
Red ran to the beach.

Splash popped up from the water.
“Hello, Red!” Splash said with a smile.
“The wave was fun! Come see!”
They saw a wolf who was playing. Red and Splash decided to go see the wolf. When they went to him, Red asked, "Do you want to play with us?" The wolf replied, "Yes, I do!" So Red, Splash, and the wolf played ball together on the beach!
It’s fun to be kind and make new friends.

Splash emerse dall’acqua.
«Ciao, Red!» disse Splash con un sorriso.
«L’onda era divertente! Vieni a vedere!»

Good bye!
It was nice meeting you!
What an adventure!
