Jason, Charlie, and King were in the
cabin. They noticed that they were almost
out of food. So they figured they should go
hunting. Charlie said he would stay and
watch the cabin. So Jason and King left.

As they were hunting. A fox ran right in
front of them. But it ran too fast. Jason
didn't get the chance to shoot at it. "The
fox was as bright as an orange." Jason
was so disappointed,because he didn't
think that he would find anything else to
hunt.

Just as they were looking all around. Jason
heard King barking. It was a big moose. The
moose seemed like it was just sleeping. Jason
thought to himself, if I shoot the moose it
would be good meat. We wouldn't have to hunt
for a while. Then the moose woke up and
heard King and started running.

Jason and King ran into the woods to find the
moose. They couldn't see the moose lurking
around anywhere. Finally, King saw something
move and started barking again. Jason saw the
moose. They went in for the kill.

King distracted the moose. While, Jason went
up and hit the moose in the head with an ax
and killed it. After they killed the moose Jason
and King started dragging the moose to the
cabin so they could clean it, and make
mulligan stew. When they got their Charlie
was in a soberly manner.

Charlie's mood improved when he saw that
they came back with the moose. They were all
relieved that they had enough meat to make the
move out of the cabin. The ice was breaking up.
Jason, King, and Charlie started to pack their
stuff and get out. Then all of a sudden the cabin
was gone. Good thing they were out.

The first thing Jason thought he should do is
go to the Golden city. Once they made it they
could see many people, boats, and place's to
go. Just as Jason was getting close to land he
saw his old friend's Jack London and Jamie.
They were waving to him. He was happy. He
couldn't believe he was with them again.

When they reached the land Jason ran off to
see Jamie and Jack. They were really happy to
see each other. Then Jack said "You know your
brother's are just over there by the creek?"
Jason said, "did they strike it rich yet?"
Jack said, "no, I don't think they did yet, but I
know a good place to look for gold.

Jack brought Jason to the river. This is a good
place to look for gold. Jason stayed for a while
with Charlie and King looking on. At first, they
had no luck to find any gold. They decided to
stay longer. They were feeling lucky. The wait
was worth it. They finally found gold!
