This book is dedicated to my friend Lily.

One day, Blueberry, the little blue jellyfish, was getting ready for school. She gets on the bus and saves a seat for her best friend. Her best friend is a fish, and her name is Maple! They are in the same class at school.
Today, Blueberry has a spelling test. She is nervous about it, but Blueberry loves writing. It is her favorite thing to do at school.
They arrive at Dunn Elementary and swim inside.
They find their room, swim to their seats, and get ready to learn. Maple and Blueberry grade each other's tests, and today Blueberry gets all of the words correct on the spelling test. She is so proud of herself. Blueberry looks around the class and notices that there is
a new student. He is a shark and his name is Bob.

At recess, Blueberry notices that Bob does not have any friends. She feels bad for Bob, so she introduces herself, and they play together. They played the game Three Musketeers. They became best friends, and they did everything together. Blueberry and Maple now save Bob a seat on the bus next to them every day.

The next week, Maple is away visiting her grandma in Hawaii.
Blueberry and Bob miss her very much, but they know she will come back. The next day at recess, Blueberry and Bob decide that they want to be presidents of the school, so they ask the principal if they both could be presidents. The principal, who was a frog, says, “Yes!” The next day, they are on morning news to share, “We are the new presidents and are excited to serve the school and teachers well.” They set down the mic and then jump up and down; they are so proud of themselves.
As the presidents of the school, the next day, they have a meeting about a new slide. Many students have been falling off the slide. Blueberry and Bob decided that if one more student falls again, then they will decide with the principal if they have to get rid of it.

Then, they go to recess. Bob and Blueberry run to see what is inside the recess treasure chest. There is a hula hoop, a clam, and some balls. Not just any type of ball. They are seaweed balls. But they look kind of strange. They look closer at them and notice that there is a tiny black speck under the seaweed. They uncovered it and saw dynamite, so they ran to the principal.
They told the principal about the fish with a smirk on his face because they thought he might have done it. This was because he was a new student who played tricks on people, so they thought it was him.
The principal said, “Who would do that?” The kids didn’t know and returned to recess. When they got back to recess, there was a fish on the swing who had a smirk on his face.
Bob asked, “Have you seen any black-covered things with seaweed?”
The fish responded, “No…” with a big smirk on his face.
Blueberry and Bob used a whisper voice and said, “ That’s strange,” to each other.
Bob and Blueberry swam away, and they reported to the principal’s office again.
