This story is lovingly dedicated to all the wonderful children, teachers, and partners from Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Romania, and Turkey,
who came together with creativity, kindness, and teamwork to imagine a better world.
May our brave bee inspire us all to keep protecting nature and spreading the message of friendship, care, and respect for the planet—wherever we are.

"Once upon a time there was a bee named Sula. Sula the bee had taken on the hardest work. Collecting pollen and nectar from the flowers. But she didn't mind at all. On the contrary, she loved flying here and there and smelling the floral scents of Spring."

8th Kindergarten of Chios, Greece

One morning, Sula woke up very early and said:
— Today I will find the most beautiful flower in the meadow!
She flew high into the sky and looked around. Suddenly she saw a flower that shone like the sun. It was hidden behind a bush. Sula quickly flew to it.

What a beautiful flower!" thought Sula. "It must taste just as good."
She was just about to sip its rich nectar when a thought crossed her mind:
"Be careful— not everything that glitters is gold."
The flower shone like the sun, dazzling and bright, but it had a strange smell.
"That scent... it reminds me of something," said Sula.
"Oh no! It has pesticides. This is very dangerous."
Kindergarten of Rodopolis, Greece
Sula quickly turned away from the flower.
“I must return to the hive and warn my sisters and the queen,” she said.
“If they drink the nectar from this flower, they could get very sick—and then we wouldn’t be able to make honey!”

The bee Sula quickly flew to the hive.
She said: Queen and my dear sisters!
Let's fly, let's fly quickly! I will show you something and tell you!
Sula said: This flower is very beautiful, but it is full of pesticides!
We can't suck nectar from it! If we do, we will get sick!
The queen bee said: Then let's fly to look for the fragrant, yellow, healthy dandelions!

Unfortunately, αll the plants had been poisoned. There were no insect sounds, no bird songs. The usual hum of life had vanished. Nature was suffering in silence.
The bees were terrified. They buzzed low and slow, confused and weak. Soula, burst into tears. Their lives were in danger. Without bees, planet Earth would change forever. Many flowers would vanish, unable to be pollinated. Crops would fail. Food would become scarce.

The Bee Queen immediately summoned the Supreme Democratic Council. It was the highest authority in the Hive—a council elected every year, with representatives from both the worker bees and the drones. Soula was one of them, known for her sharp mind and kind heart.
The Queen stood tall in the center of the Royal Hive Hall:
“Our meadow is dying,” she said gravely. “We must find out what happened. We must fix it. The whole world depends on us. Be brave.”

— I think it’s the chemicals. People spray the plants with poisons, and the flowers absorb them. For them, it’s a solution. For us, it’s the end.
The queen nodded:We’re sending out research teams. Sula, you will lead them. We need to map the dangerous areas and find the clean flowers. We will create a Map of Life to save our hive and our meadow. With a brave heart, Sula took to the skies, followed by a team of scout bees. The sun was setting, but the battle was just beginning. There was only one certainty in the evening air: Sula and her sisters would not give up. They were the last defenders of the balance in nature.

Sula and her sisters bees flying above meadow fast. They discover pure flowers in the area. Making maps in the dangerous areas. They discover flowers with pure nectar . This little bees, so brave.... Everything for hive and the Queen. They going to the other bees with map. They have to solve this problem now.

Sula returned to the hive with a map full of safe flower locations.
The whole community rejoiced – hope had returned.
The bees began to collect nectar only from the cleanest meadows marked by Sula’s team.
Nature slowly recovered, and the hive became stronger than ever before.

The next morning, Soula and her team visited the first meadow they had marked on the map. Suddenly, little Neli, the most curious bee of the group, flew closer and saw something incredible: a small beetle was trapped in a spider’s web and was calling for help.
Soula didn’t hesitate. “We have to help him!” she said, and flew bravely toward him. All the bees joined forces, and together they managed to break the web and rescue the beetle.
“Thank you so much!” said the little scarab, touched. “I’ll help you with your mission too! I know a clearing full of wildflowers, far away from people and pesticides.”
So, thanks to Soula’s courage and her team’s teamwork — and with the help of their new friend — they found an even safer place to gather nectar. And every day, their hive filled with sweet honey and beautiful stories.
The bees returned to their hive and kept up the good work. They all had a different job. Some of them were cleaning, others were feeding the bee babies and some of them were makong honey. "And what about our new friend the little scarab?" asked Sula. "What can you do?" "I can watch out for enemy hives like wasps and ants, but I would also like to go back to my family" So they all finished their jobs and then helped the scarab find his family.

With joint efforts, the bees opened the box. Oh, a miracle! Inside they found a map showing the way to the scarab's home. At the bottom of the box were a large number of small seeds placed in colorful
bags. They took the seeds and together with the scarab flew to find its home, following the signs on the map.
Soon they reached the insect's house. It thanked them for their help and suggested that they make a flower meadow near its house. The bees agreed and prepared the meadow, cleaned it and planted the seeds they found in the box. They made a new hive on a tree. Soon the new meadow shone with the colors of many flowers, from which they made wonderful ecological honey.

"Bees are hardworking," said the cute bee. "We have created a beautiful living space for ourselves by working hard. Now we can continue making honey," said Sula. "I love honey," said the little bee Neli. All the bees laughed at this.
