This digital book is a tribute to the power of collaboration, curiosity, and innovation in STEM education. Through shared knowledge and creative activities, we inspire future generations to explore, discover, and shape a better world. Together, we build a bridge between science and education, fostering a love for learning that knows no limits.
Let this book be a source of inspiration and a testament to the impact we create when we work together!

World Water Day is celebrated annually on March 22 to raise awareness of the importance of freshwater and advocate for the sustainable management of water resources.
Each year, World Water Day has a specific theme, focusing on different aspects of water conservation and sustainability. Water is essential for life, health, agriculture, and economic development. Through World Water Day, the UN encourages people to reflect on their water usage, support initiatives for clean water access, and contribute to protecting this vital resource for future generations.

We recycle and create
As part of the eTwinning project "Green Stories, Bright Futures", students made a robotic arm from recycled materials such as: plastic straws, pieces of cardboard, pieces of thread. In this activity, students learned how important selective recycling is, how they can recreate objects from garbage, but also how the arm works and why robotic arms are useful tools.

Every drop is a blessing!
Within the eTwinning project "Green Stories, Bright Futures" I organized a STEM activity with my students focused on conveying messages of water protection, conscious use and attention to waste, as well as rainwater reuse. Within this activity, students became aware of the importance of water for the continuation of life on earth, since there is a very small percentage of drinking water on the earth's surface compared to the total capacity of existing water.

Păpuși din materiale reciclabile
The students made dolls, in traditional costumes, using various recyclable materials: textiles, wooden spoons, thread, string, straw, plastic materials from old dolls. In this way, the students can become aware that by recycling and reusing products they can contribute to protecting the environment. By carrying out various activities with the students, we do not want to raise responsible young people who protect the environment in which they live.

Using paper, recycled wooden sticks, and small tree branches collected after spring cleaning, the students created a tree.
The tree's component parts are clearly visible.
The tree created by the students created the perfect framework to highlight the changes that the fall season brings to the life of the tree.

Production with Recycling - New Designs from Waste Materials
Within the scope of our eTwinning project ‘Green Stories, Bright Futures’, our students took an important step towards becoming environmentally conscious individuals. In this activity, which we planned with a STEM approach, our students designed environmentally friendly and functional products by evaluating waste materials. Waste materials such as plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, old CDs, jar lids were transformed into creative objects such as flower pots, pencil holders, table lamps and hourglasses. The main purpose of this activity is to create an awareness of sustainable living in students, to make them understand the importance of recycling and to learn how to reuse waste in creative ways. At the same time, it is aimed to develop problem solving, design, production and teamwork skills.
We are completing our work and preparing for the exhibition we will hold at our school.22 April we are planning an action within the scope of Earth Day activities. Our work will be a source for us.
Thanks to this work, students realised that they are a part of nature and took responsibility for a greener future. They had the opportunity to see in a concrete way that small steps can make a big difference.

OUR STEM STUDY
Recycling=Enjoying, Creating, Protecting and Our Carbon Footprint
Within the scope of our eTwinning project ‘Green Stories, Bright Futures’, we carried out our STEM STUDY by creating objects that we can use in daily life from recyclable waste. We gave the waste a chance without throwing it into nature and they were saved from being garbage and did not pollute our world.
We also measured and researched our Carbon Footprint and explained the ways to reduce our Carbon Footprint to our friends in our class. They really enjoyed these activities that raised their awareness.

We loved recycling in Stem work!!

This is one of our STEM activities for environmental protection through recycling and reusing various materials.

As part of "Green Stories, Bright Futures" project the greek students prepared a water wheel using recyclable materials: a paper plate, paper cups and a straw. They observed that the cart wheel would go quicker or slower depending on how much they would open the tap. Great way to raise awareness!

From Recycling to Geometry: Robot Design with Tiny Hands
This week, students developed environmental awareness and learned math and engineering skills in a fun way in a STEM activity. The theme of the activity was "Geometric Objects and Robot Design with Waste Materials". Students created various geometric objects using waste materials such as cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, toilet paper rolls and lids that they brought from home. Rectangular prism-shaped milk cartons, cylindrical rolls of paper and small cube-shaped boxes turned the classroom into a geometry laboratory.

At the end of the event, our classroom turned into a fun STEM exhibition where recycling and science came together. Students were proud of the robots they made with their own hands and learned how science and art can be in perfect harmony.
Each student designed their own robot using these materials. For example, some students used a rectangular prism for the body, a cube for the head, and cylinders for the arms and legs.
