A person must first be honest. At school, at work, at home, you must always be honest.
The first rule is to be honest
I understand. Teacher. Can you explain it to me?

One day, there were two friends living in a village. Their names were Ahmet and Mehmet. They both went to the same class and they were very good friends. Ahmet was more hard-working than Mehmet.

One day, their teacher gives the class a difficult assignment and asks them to research and do it over the weekend. When it was the weekend, Ahmet didn't even go out and prepared a very good assignment, on the contrary, Mehmet never went home and didn't look at his homework. He spent the whole day outside playing games.

When Monday came, Ahmet and Mehmet went to school. When the first lesson was over and it was time to start the Turkish lesson, Ahmet and his classmates went out during the break, and Mehmet took Ahmet's homework and put it in his bag after they went out.

When the bell rings and they go inside, the teacher asks them to get their homework out. Everyone gets their homework out, but Ahmet can't find his homework. He tells the teacher. The teacher knows that Ahmet is a responsible student, so he tells him to bring his homework when he finds it.

During the lesson, Ahmet's eraser falls and Mehmet goes there. Ahmet recognizes his own writing and says that the homework on Mehmet's desk is his own. Mehmet is embarrassed by this situation and apologizes to Ahmet. Ahmet says to Mehmet, "You stole my work, but you didn't lie afterwards and acted honestly, you didn't deny it."

She says that honesty never hurts and they forgive him and make up. Mehmet never lies or steals anyone's work from now on.

Erkan, what did you get out of this story?
We must always be honest, teacher.

If a person loves others, she will be merciful to everyone.
The second rule is love.
I understand. Teacher. Can you explain it to me?

One day, there was a boy named Hasan. Hasan sat alone at school, did not talk to anyone, and during breaks, he would sit in the corner of the school garden wall while his friends were playing.

Although his friends called him to their side at first, he did not go to any of them, so after a while they stopped calling Hasan. As time went by, Hasan continued to live introvertedly.

One day, a blonde-haired, slightly tall teacher named Fatma came to their school. Since Hasan's teacher was transferred to another city, Fatma teacher entered Hasan's class. Everyone was very excited except Hasan. Everyone asked Fatma questions to get to know her, and they never left Fatma teacher's side even during breaks.

Fatma teacher always approached them with a smile, listened to them and valued them. In a short time, Fatma teacher noticed Hasan's introverted state. When she asked the other teachers and Hasan's friends about his situation, they all gave the same answer; he was always like that...

Fatma teacher did not want to remain indifferent to Hasan's situation. She started to give Hasan small tasks, asked him questions that he would know and when he did, she used nice sentences and said "well done". She started to feel a special sympathy for Hasan.

Although Fatma's loving, friendly and approachable attitude towards him did not affect Hasan at first, Hasan also started to be happy with him in time. His teacher, who noticed the change in him in time, wanted to visit Hasan's house. Although Hasan did not want his teacher to come at first, he was forced to take him home.

When they arrived home, Hasan's mother and father and Fatma teacher were sitting. Fatma teacher sat down with her family for a while and asked permission before leaving the house. She now understood better why Hasan was in this state. No matter what questions she asked her family about him, they either didn't know or weren't interested. In short, Hasan's biggest problem was lack of love. Empathize with the state of a child who is left without love and attention.

From that day on, Fatma teacher became more affectionate towards Hasan, always caressing his head. She always supported him in the games and took him to her team. And in time, Hasan started to get along with his friends and started to make good friendships.

Yes, in fact, every problem has a number of reasons. Perhaps the biggest reason is lack of love. Let's not withhold our love from our family, friends, and neighbors. Just as water and sun are necessary for a flower to grow, love is what keeps a person alive.

Erkan, what did you get out of this story?
Love is the cure for everything. That's why we should love everyone, teacher.

Compassion is a very powerful emotion that makes a person human.
The third rule is mercy.
I understand. Teacher. Can you explain it to me?

Ayşe Kadın had planted beans in her garden. Since the weather was good, the beans sprouted in a short time. One day, a cow ran out of the house with a loud bellowing sound. The neighbor's yellow cow had entered the garden and trampled the beans that were beginning to grow and destroyed them.

When Ayşe Woman saw that her efforts were in vain, she froze. The Yellow Cow was bellowing in front of the barn with the rope hanging from its neck. Ayşe Woman, whose anger began to swell, walked towards the cow with a large stick in her hand. At that moment, the neighbor's wife came running. She started talking in a sad voice.

-The poor man's calf died yesterday. He has been looking for his calf three times since the morning, he said.
Hearing these words, the stick in Ayşe Woman's hand fell to the ground. She had completely forgotten about the beans. She looked at the sad eyes of the yellow cow that came up to them and started to caress its head:
-So, she is also thinking of her calf, she said.

It means that a person who respects others values their point of view.
The fourth rule is respect.
I understand. Teacher. Can you explain it to me?

Ahmet was one of the naughtiest students in the class. He didn't listen much, he would get angry at the slightest incident and unfortunately he would even resort to violence when the time came. You may be very angry with Ahmet right now or you may be criticizing him for what kind of a child he is.

But everyone who knew Ahmet's family didn't find Ahmet's situation strange. Well, as the saying goes, "A grape darkens by looking at another grape." No one in Ahmet's family had any respect for anyone else. Who was older, who was younger, everything was chaotic. How else would a child growing up in such an environment be?

Even if the people around him say that his family is like that and Ahmet is like them, Ahmet needs to be a respectful child. Just because his family is unloving and disrespectful does not mean that he will be like that. In fact, Ahmet could be a very respectful child and even try to change his family and cultivate an environment of respect in his family.

His teacher also tried very hard to change him. He showed him love, respect, and interest, but whatever he did was in vain, it just didn't work. Maybe he was trying to shake Ahmet's heartstrings, but it didn't affect him.

The ancestors say that one misfortune is better than a thousand pieces of advice. Well, if the ancestors said it, they must have known something. One day, Ahmet saw an old lady on his way home from school. The lady and he had both moved to cross the road, but Ahmet lost sight of the lady from behind in order to get ahead. That's what happened next. The lady fell down where she was. Her nose bled.

Ahmet had not guessed that his rudeness and disrespect would reach this point. But it was too late. When he saw the woman in pain, he was scared at first. But no one had even understood what had happened. Ahmet knew very well what had happened. He was very upset, he was old, who knows, he was sick, maybe he had many troubles. And he thought, it was because of me that she became like this.

That incident was the turning point in Ahmet's life. Because he had to have a purpose in life. Upsetting people and disrespecting them did not bring us any benefit and also dulled the emotions within us. However, if we were respectful people and loved people, life would be easier, more beautiful and more meaningful.

From that day on, Ahmet never disrespected anyone, knowingly or willingly. He tried to make up for the disrespect and evil he had done in the past by doing good deeds.

Peace and brotherhood always enable people to live together
The fifth rule is peace and brotherhood.
I understand. Teacher. Can you explain it to me?

There were two villages side by side in the depths of a forest. Animals lived in these two villages. The inhabitants of the two villages had been enemies for years because of an issue that everyone had forgotten the reason for. A river flowed through the middle of the two villages.

The animals would drink water from this river and each time they would fight with each other. If the river were not so deep, they would cross to the other side and almost slaughter each other.

One day, a migrating beaver family passed through these villages. The beaver family built a bridge to cross the river. They left the bridge as it was and went away.

Two days after the bridge was built, a fire broke out in the village across the way. The animals didn't know where to run. Then they saw the bridge. They crossed the bridge desperately and took refuge in the village they were enemies with. The villagers didn't know what to do.

There was no river between the animals of the village that had been enemies for years. No one felt like fighting. In fact, until now they couldn't even understand why they were fighting. They laughed at their situation and hugged each other.

This hostility that had lasted for years, the reason for which they did not even know, was resolved with a bridge. They named the bridge the Peace Bridge. The two villages continued their lives happily in peace and brotherhood.

Patience and gratitude give people the joy of living.
The sixth rule is patience and gratitude.
I understand. Teacher. Can you explain it to me?

Once upon a time, there was a king of a country. This king set out on a journey on the sea with his newly built ship. The weather was wonderful, seagulls were flying in the deep blue sky, and the cool wind was caressing the face of the person.

The sea stretched out like a newly opened sheet, as if it was doing its best to ensure that the ship sailed without any trouble. On the ship, the king had a wise advisor, whose word he always valued, and his most valued men.

Even though everything was so beautiful, one of the king's favorite servants was constantly worried that they would sink and die. Finally, they thought of taking the servant off the ship. Unfortunately, they were so far from the shore that they could not take the servant off the ship, the servant continued to shout.

Finally, his advisor could not stand this situation any longer and said to the king, "My King, I know how to calm this servant down. But you must order your men to do exactly what I say." Knowing that his advisor would not mislead him, the king turned to his soldiers and ordered that whatever he wanted be done without hesitation.

The advisor immediately ordered two strong sailors to throw the screaming and shouting servant into the sea. Although they were surprised at first, the sailors grabbed the man's arms and threw him into the sea. Everyone on the ship, including the Sultan, was watching what was happening with curiosity.

When the servant fell into the sea, he did not know what to do at first, he swallowed a lot of water, he shouted and asked for help from the people on the ship, saying that he could not swim; but the counselor had ordered that no one should help him.

The man in the sea was then able to hold on to one of the ship's ropes with great difficulty. He was now calmer than at first and kept asking for help. This situation continued for several minutes.

When the counselor said that the man could now be taken on board, the servant was pulled aboard. After the poor man was brought on deck, soaking wet, he sat down on the ground and began to cough. There was no trace of the panic and fear he had felt before falling into the sea. The counselor turned to the king and explained what he had done:

"My King, this man forgot that he was safe inside the ship and was afraid that there was a one in a million chance that the ship would sink. In order to realize that the ship was a blessing for him, he had to understand that what he was really afraid of was losing it.

"When she fell into the sea and was left helpless and alone, she realized what a blessing the ship was for her. You'll see, she won't complain from now on."

Indeed, during the entire voyage, no one ever heard that servant cry out in fear or complain. He was always grateful.

Erkan, what did you get out of this story?
The result of patience and gratitude is always positive.
