In the Enchanted Valley, on a hill, stands an old castle surrounded by a garden full of flowers and singing birds. I am Oscar, and I have been living there for five years with my mother, father and my twin sisters Berry and Hortensja. They are as similar as two drops of water.
Ewa Leśniewska/Poland

Mr. Wild Strawberry with the red hat is working in the garden. I noticed that he talks to the birds every day and brings them messages from all over the world. One day he heard something that would change everything...

Dorota Stanałowska/Poland

The birds told Wild Strawberry about a plant lover who lives in a far country and grows plants with miraculous properties in his garden.
Ewa Izydorczyk/ Poland

He took the plants he collected from his garden to his castle. He collected these plants only for the children in the castle. The children made bouquets from these plants and placed them in vases.

One morning, just after sunrise, Mr. Strawberry called us into the garden. His face was full of excitement, and next to the red hat he was wearing today was a tuft of colorful feathers, a gift from his friendly magpies.
"Children, it's time," he said mysteriously.
"We're going on a journey to a faraway land that the birds told me about." Berry was overjoyed, and Hortensia looked at me with a sparkle in her eyes and whispered, "This is going to be the adventure of a lifetime, Oskar!"

While Oscar, his sisters and Mr. Strawberry were going with the balloon, the birds accompanied them. They completed half of the journey like this. Suddenly, a huge white cloud appeared in front of them. They were slowly approaching and were trembling with fear. It was beginning to be seen what was behind the cloud.

The balloon slowly passed through the big white cloud.
On the other side, something magical appeared — a floating island in the sky!
The trees sparkled, rivers flew in the air, and strange animals watched them quietly.
Mr. Strawberry smiled.
“We found it,” he whispered.
“The Garden in the Sky.”
Just then, a soft voice filled the air:
“Only the kind-hearted may enter.”

Here all the animals and flowers were smiling. There was a beautiful smell around. They thought they were dreaming. Suddenly a fairy appeared in front of them. She asked them where they came from. Mr. Strawberry said that they came from a long way away and wanted to see the benefactor who grew miraculous plants. Suddenly there was silence.

The fairy was surprised to hear this and said that she had not seen the animal-loving gardener for a long time. The fairy said that the wise man living on the flying island could find the gardener's location.

It was an extraordinary meeting.
The sun was setting and the garden was sparkling with thousands of lights.
Colorful lights floated and twinkled.

They noticed a little dwarf named Peter walking along a path full of flowers. He was the one lighting the way, carrying a lantern made from a jar filled with fireflies.

They approached him with joy. Could he take them to the gardener? They looked at him with pleading eyes. The cute dwarf...

They will smile and say that if they want to reach Mr. Strawberry they must complete 3 taskss.

The dwarf told them clearly:
First: You must find a magic mushroom that often changes color.
Second: At dusk, you must help me collect fireflies, which I release in the morning.
Third: You must find a magic apple tree that bears magic large apples.

The children and Mr. Strawberry set off in search of the mysterious mushroom. Under an old oak tree, among the soft moss, they found a mushroom cap that kept changing from green to purple to blue. When they put it in a linen pouch, the mushroom twinkled one last time, as if it wanted to thank them.

When evening came, the children had to catch fireflies, but... not just any way! Everyone had to prepare their own, colorful jar-trap, so as not to hurt the delicate creatures. The fireflies began to dance in the air, they had multi-colored wings and laughed quietly like bells. Sparks of colored light flashed around the children like cheerful lamps.

Jagoda Szumczyk /Poland

When they managed to catch all the fireflies, they took them to the dwarf Peter, although a little sad, they unscrewed the jars and watched as their new, shiny friends raise into the sky. The fireflies danced one last farewell dance and disappeared in the rays of the sun.

The fireflies flew away and the children had a mushroom in their bag, which every now and then made lovely sounds of satisfaction. The children and Mr. Strawberry decided to rest for a while under a tree. Suddenly they heard a clattering sound like a horse coming from a distance, it was getting closer and closer until suddenly.....
Agnieszka Mucha

...a beautiful white horse stepped out from behind the trees, its mane shimmering with tiny blossoms. The horse bowed its head gently, inviting the children to climb onto its back. As soon as they were seated, the horse trotted gracefully along a winding path lined with glowing mushrooms. The air grew sweeter with every step, and soon they saw a little house covered in colorful, blooming flowers. It was the home of the gardener, who waved at them cheerfully from behind a rainbow of petals.

The gardener smiled warmly and invited them into his little house, filled with the scent of mint and raspberries. He told them about magical plants that could sing, dance, and even make dreams come true. In the evening, under the light of the moon, he planted a few enchanted seeds together with Mr. Strawberry and the children. "Each one is the beginning of a new adventure," the gardener whispered.
And even though their journey had come to an end, they knew the magic would stay with them forever.
