"Let's write a story"
Activity

Once Upon a Time,
there was a group of four incredible guys. Stelios, Dimitris, Theodoris and Constantine. They were very loved and looked like brave knights.
One fine day, they had a dream of going an excursion. Theodoris suggested that they visit the castle. Stelios suggested that they spend a day in the forest of the city. Dimitris wanted them to gather at his house and cook a meal. Constantine loved the sea and insisted that they go for a walk on the beach!
It was a difficult decision, so they had to vote on what to do.

They voted and decided that it would be nice to spend a day in the forest. They took some food and drink and went into the forest. They saw a baby bird that had fallen under a big and magnificent tree. They saw a bird's nest in the tree and they took the bird and put it in the nest. They set off to continue their walk in the forest.

After some time and wandering through the forest, they found themselves in front of a clearing. From that point, the entire plain was visible. Everyone got excited and decided to collect wood to make a fire. They split into two groups and started collecting wood. However, Stelios noticed that Theodori's shoelace was loose and decided to help him tie it so it wouldn't fall off.
They finally succeeded and lit the fire.

As the fire crackled, the group gathered around it, warming themselves and enjoying the flickering flames. Stars began to appear in the sky, creating a beautiful canvas above them. Constantine suggested that they tell stories as they sat around the fire, each sharing a story from their childhood or a mysterious legend they had heard. The night felt magical, and as they laughed and talked, the sounds of the forest grew quieter, as if listening to their stories.

As the night wore on, the four friends heard a voice coming from deep within the forest. "Shall we go and see what?" Stelios asked excitedly. "It could be an animal or... something magical!" said Constantine with his sparkling eyes. They decided to follow the voice, and in the middle of the voices they were led to a clearing where a large, illuminated tree stood. There, in a damaged stone, they found an old, forgotten book. Dimitris opened it and read aloud: "The wish of the one who finds the Tree of Songs will come true..."

-Maybe it's just an old story, nothing more....”

Dimitris read the words on the dusty pages of the old book with a trembling voice, their echoes seeming to echo in the still forest air. Stelios, standing next to him, watched intently, a shiver running down his spine. “The singing tree… what does it mean?” he asked, his voice curious but also a touch of doubt. Dimitris was silent for a few minutes, considering the words he might read. There was no further explanation in the book, only brief mentions of a legendary tree with the power to grant wishes. “Perhaps it’s just an old story, nothing more,” he said, but his voice didn’t sound certain on the matter.

The four friends decided to wander through the forest to find the Tree of Song. Dimitris was very thoughtful and the other children asked him if he was worried about something. He told his friends what he thought their wishes would be if they were to find the Tree of Song. Then Stelios, Theodoris and Constantine offered to think about their wishes and vote on what would be the best option.

They went deep into the forest to find the Tree of Song. They came across a large plane tree with a colorful parrot on it. Dimitris asked the parrot where the Tree of Song was. The parrot said, "First help a tree around you, then I will show you the way." The knights looked around and saw a dry tree. They watered the tree to help it. Suddenly, colorful leaves appeared on the tree. The parrot said, "You have fulfilled your duty, and I will show you the way to the Tree of Song. First, go straight and talk to the deer you meet.

The four friends followed the parrot's directions. The forest became quieter and quieter, the air mysterious. After a short walk, a graceful deer appeared by a small stream. Its antlers shone with light.
Dimitris approached carefully and asked: “Can you show us the Song Tree?”
The deer nodded: "If your heart is pure, the path will reveal itself. But the last step is only for the brave."
The deer looked down to the ground. There was a circle there, glowing faintly.
"Enter this circle and speak your wish from the heart. Only heartfelt words can awaken the Song Tree," he said.
The four friends looked at each other and stepped in. The final test was beginning.

The four friends joined hands and said at the same time, "Please show yourself to us, Tree of Song." They repeated this three times together and stepped into the circle at the same time.

What do you wish from me?

There was both excitement and fear inside them. Suddenly there was movement inside the circle. There was a light festival inside the circle. The singing tree slowly appeared in the middle of the circle. And it looked around to see who was calling it. When it saw the children, it asked them, "What do you wish from me?"

I use my wish for Dimitris and wish him a bicycle.

They all looked at each other. Stelios, Theodoris, Constantine and Dimitris thought for a while. Then Stelios said, I know that Dimitris has wanted to buy a bicycle for a long time. He is saving money for it. I have a bicycle and Dimitris gets very excited when I ride it. I sometimes let him ride my bicycle but he wants to have his own bicycle. I use my wish for Dimitris and wish him a bicycle. I am also giving Dimitris the pocket money I have saved.

Your wishes are granted.

The four friends stood in the forest.
Dimitris's happiness warmed them all.
Theodoris wished for peace.
Constantine for adventure and Dimitri for his friend's joy.
A soft breeze blew and the words whispered."Your wishes are granted."They smiled each other and they walked deeper into the forest with hearts full of hope.

Their hearts were filled with happiness and joy. Their friendship was strengthened, their memories were enriched. They would never forget this loving experience.

As the morning sun filtered through the trees, casting golden rays onto the forest floor, the four friends began their journey home, their hearts still filled with wonder. The shining leaf Dimitris held in his hand seemed to hum gently, as if reflecting the joy they shared. Although the Song Tree was gone, its presence lingered in the warmth between them, in their laughter, and in the silent understanding that something extraordinary had happened.
Hadice Nur SARIKAYA and her students

They walked on in silence, with slow steps, each one taking them farther from the magical clearing, but closer to a new, deeper bond. When they finally reached the edge of the forest, the world seemed unchanged — but they knew they were no longer the same. The adventure had left its mark, not only in the glowing leaf in Dimitris's palm but also in their hearts, forever united by a secret that only they could truly understand.
And so, they stepped into the sunlight of their familiar village, carrying with them the music of a tree that was no longer there, but would always sing — softly, eternally — within them.
"Mutual help in friendship creates deep bonds that last forever."

Dana Chiorescu and her students

And from that day on, whenever the wind rustled through the village trees, they would pause, share a knowing glance, and smile — for they still heard the song, and always would. Life settled back into its familiar rhythm, but something deep within had changed. They helped each other more, listened more closely, and found meaning in the quiet moments. The secret of the forest remained unspoken, yet it lived in every act of care and every silent understanding.
Though the magical tree was gone, its spirit remained — in their bond, in their bravery, and in the gentle harmony of two hearts forever touched by wonder.
