Pet Simulator: The Rainbow Ravine!

On a sunlit day, two pets were doing chores on the farm. “Can’t we do this any faster?” Ruffles, the energetic corgi, barked. “Chores come first!” reminded Whiskers, the sleek grey cat. “Why not do this a little faster?” Ruffles slowly pulled something out of its pack. “RUFFLES! NO!” It was too late. Ruffles had lit the TNT, and the fuse burned.

“Oh no…” Whiskers knew what was going to happen. (BOOM!) The hay turned to ashes, covering the pets in a gray blanket. Penny, the magical unicorn, trotted above the path. “What happened here?” Penny questioned.

“PENNY!!!” Ruffles sped towards Penny and gave her a giant hug. While Whiskers' eyes grew big at a shimmering piece of parchment, “Woah,” Whiskers meowed. “Guys, look at this!” The friends dashed to Whiskers.

“Is… Is that a TREASURE MAP?!” Ruffles cried.

“It shows a rainbow bridge arching worldwide,” Whiskers said.

“Adventure! Adventure!” Ruffles panted.

“First, let's pack up. We need a LOT of supplies for that journey,” replied Whiskers. They packed up and walked off with the map to the Rainbow Ravine.

“Ugh, this is taking too long! Can't this be faster?” Ruffles complained. Penny checked her backpack. “There!” She took three vials of sparkly silver liquid. “Take these; they boost your speed for 10 minutes!”

“Wow, that's amazing!” Ruffles and Whiskers faintly said. “Let’s glug these down then!” The trio laughed.

The trio felt a sudden flash in their bodies; they were faster than lightning! They sped up the hill as fast as a cheetah. “This is what I’m talking about!” Ruffles ran across the mountain and suddenly shook. “RUMBLE! RUMBLE!”

“Woah!” the trio gasped. Penny said, “I think we’re almost there, guys!”

The trio carefully ran past the mountain, avoiding the falling boulders. “WOAH!” Ruffles slipped! Whiskers and Penny tugged and pulled.

“Oh no! BOULDER!” A brick-hard boulder sped down the mountain.

“Strength Potion!” A beam of light from Penny’s horn opened her satchel and picked up a vial of red liquid. Penny drank it as fast as she could. Strength flowed through her veins. “Pull!”

The trio quickly pulled Ruffles up and dashed before the rock hit the ground. “KABOOMIE!” The rock shattered.

“That was close!” Whiskers said. “Ruffles, be careful!”

The trio climbed through the towering mountain until they met a narrow bridge crossing a canyon that led to the Rainbow Ravine. Whiskers whimpered, “Not… not heights!” Whiskers had an extreme fear of heights.

“It’s okay, buddy. We’ll be right by your side!” The trio cheered for Whiskers.

“Okay…” Whiskers replied. “Okay, let’s go!”

Ruffles sped across the bridge, making it rumble. Ruffles ran across the bridge until “CRACK!” The plank loudly shattered! “WOAH!” The trio wobbled and wobbled until it stopped.

“Be careful, Ruffles! You could get hurt!” warned Whiskers.

The trio walked across and made it safely to the entrance of the Rainbow Ravine. An old rock with carvings spoke:

“You have made it this far to the Rainbow Ravine, a sight to behold, but not all is as it seems. With colors above, you must seek a hidden secret where the sky and earth meet. Seven bands of light, each one a clue, the path to your answer is shining through. Red, orange, yellow, green, and blue, indigo and violet, what do they all do? What is it that bends but never breaks, reflecting as the peace it makes?”

“Hmmm,” Whiskers thought deeply. “I know! A rainbow!” Ruffles blurted out. The rocks shook and shook, splitting the ground.

“AHHHHH!” The trio fell down!

The Red Challenge
 The Breakables Challenge

As the trio fell down, they landed in a place full of breakables. Before anyone could see, Whiskers noticed a timer that had 5 minutes, and if it hit 0, they'd be out of the challenge!

“Guys! We need to break the crates of coins before the timer runs out!” Whiskers commanded.

Ruffles had a plan… He grinned, pulling out a… “NOT AGAIN, RUFF—” (BOOOOOOOM!)

“The 5th time today, Ruffles!” Whiskers said, covered in ash.

“Well, it did work! Look!” They turned around to see one-fourth of the breakables were gone.

“I’ve been saving this for this moment.” Penny took out her bag and pulled out a sparkly flask of pink liquid, the bottle made of pure gold.

“Take these quickly!” Penny gave the potions out while the timer counted down: 2:29, 2:28…

The trio felt a boost as all their items flew in the air and combined, making Super TNT.

“This is what I like to see!!” Ruffles said. Ruffles jumped in the air and took the TNT from the air. “SUPER DUPER TNT BLAST!!!”

The blast shook the floor. 0:10, 0:09, 0:08… As soon as the bang finished, a robotic voice called out, “Challenge completed.”

The trio cheered. “YES!”

“Let’s move on. I want that reward!” Ruffles ran to the next zone, the Orange and Yellow Challenge.

The Orange and Yellow Challenge! (The Digging Challenge

After the trio passed the Red Challenge they walked to the next door the Orange and yellow challenge A Field of grass laid beneath them a robotic voice boomed “ For This challenge you have to dig to the lowest layer of the ground in the time limit ( 10:00 ) Or you are eliminated from the challenge “ A pale wooden shovel appeared in front of them, “ What's this?” Whiskers wondered.

The Trio picked the shovels and looked at the screen. The screen showed in giant numbers 10:59—10:58—10:57 the team had to do this as fast as they could without wasting time. Ruffles started digging, Coins Were in the ground “ Huh?” Ruffles pondered questioning the situation. A glimpse of Pennys eye, a small merchant That sells all kinds of things Penny trotted to the merchant seeing all sorts of stuff like diamond shovels, golden shovels and emerald shovels

“How much does an emerald shovel cost?” “100 Diamonds,” the Merchant said. Penn opened her satchel She muttered “ Diamonds…. Diamonds…..There! “ She took 100 diamonds out of her satchel and put them on the desk, “ Penny! What are you doing!? We're doing all this work by ourselves!” Whiskers moaned, “ I'm coming!” She came with a pure emerald shovel to the digsite, whiskers and Ruffles' eyes glimmered a bright white shine “Coooll!....” they whispered away, while the timer ticked,

ticked,4:30–4:29–4:28 “ Let's do this fast!” Whiskers bursted out. They dug and dug until they were close to the floor. They mined all sorts of gems of every color they've been to that would come to use at the end….

00:20 00:19 00:18 They dug as fast as they could scooping the ground out the floof until they made it before the time went out “ Challenge Completed Please Proceed” the robotic voice boomed.

The Green and Blue Challenge

The green and blue challenge was a series of swimming where you had to take 10 heavy green charms to the end of the course. It was a deserted island with an empty chest on the sand.

“ For this challenge, you have to put all the charms into the chest in the time limit ( 5:00 ),” Continued the robot.”   “This looks easy!” Said Ruffles, who tried to pick up a charm, “ This won't budge a bit !” complained Ruffles.

The Timer Ticked “ Let's do this as a team! ” Penny Said. The trio picked the charm grunting, but finished the job. They dropped it on the boat leaving water to fill up “ EVERYBODY GET TO THE FRONT OF THE BOAT!”

 Penny Cried.as the boat tipped slowly sinking until the weight of  the trio kept the boat balanced, “ Phew!” the trio panted. Ruffles picked a shallow wooden shovel and pushed as hard as he could they made it the time ticked

“1:00 0:59 0:58 The magical penny took a strength potion II and a speed potion IV they glugged them down and they started to do it quicker than before “ Splish! Splash! ”

They arrived putting 5 charms on the boat. Whiskers sweated “ This is harder than  I thought!” they pushed and pushed until they heard a loud beep “ CHALLENGE COMPLETE! CONTINUE! ”

   The final challenge was to figure out the safe code for the reward “ Huh! How do we do this?” Ruffles questioned .  They typed in “ Treasure “ BOOP!  it was wrong. Whiskers said “ it was so fun we used all our teamwork!” “ TEAMWORK!! “ Ruffles said. They put in “ TEAMWORK “ a green signal glared at the safe hatched open  “ WE'VE DID IT !” they cheered, they left the temple with rainbow prism that gave them powers unimaginable. But at the end of the day they knew the real prize was there teamwork!.
