Our Creative Journey: Month by Month 

4th Kindergarten Kilkis,

GREECE

September: 
We started our journey by creating avatars to introduce our team.

October:

Architecture Month!

We explored five historical buildings in Greece and built models or painted them. We also played a fun architecture quiz!

November:

Picture Month!

We learned about three Greek painters, created beautiful works inspired by them, and shared our feelings through art.

December:

Sculpture Month! 

We made creative sculptures using clay.

And finally, we played the Sculpting game.

January:

Literature Month! We read the myth of Persephone, dramatized it wearing costumes and created a poster in groups. In the end, we played a psychomotor game.

February: 

We wrote a children's book together, created a cover and voted with the partners on the most suitable one.

March:

Music Month! We wrote our own lyrics and composed our own song. We sang it with the accompaniment of musical instruments.

April: 

Theater/Cinema Month! We designed costumes for a theater performance using recyclable materials. We also gave voices to cartoon characters that we drew, using a digital tool!

This project was full of creativity, teamwork and fun!   

We have a lot of fun in this project. They learn art branches practically.

 NOVEMBER

He copied the paintings of famous painters.

We made models of important architectural monuments of our country.

We managed to improvise a school play meant to raise awareness about the world’s current natural state.

We chose important buildings related to our country and we looked information about them.

November

We chose one painter and we created our own version of one of his paintings.

December

Our students designed a sculpture using recycled materials. Then, we played the sculptures game.

January/February

We dedicated this months to Literature, introducing a book in our language and creating, all together, our own story.

March

We became composers in March.

April

We designed a theatre costume from recycled materials using our own creativity and we drew and voiced the character of our story.

In our project, my students got to know different branches of art.

We made models of the architectural monuments of our country.

What would it look like if we made paintings of famous painters of Turkish culture?

We made clay sculptures. We taught the game called Sculpture to our project friends.

Online Meeting

January- February

We wrote a children's book together with our partners in the project. We introduced Keloğlan, one of the Turkish fairy tale heroes.

March

We made instruments from recycled materials.We wrote our own lyrics, composed them with artificial intelligence and performed them for our project friends.

APRIL

We designed costumes from recycled materials. We prepared a clown costume and a Snow White costume.

We designed our own cartoon character. We created a brand new character with the characteristics of different creatures. We voiced our characters with our own voices.

WE ARE FIRST GRADE STUDENTS FROM CROATIA. FIRST, WE INTRODUCED OURSELVES FOR OTHER PARTNERS IN PROJECT.

IN OCTOBER WE DRAW FAVOURITE ARCHITECTURE MONUMENTS FROM CROATIA.

AND IN NOVEMBER WE DRAW PICTURES OF FAMOUS PAINTERS FROM RIJEKA.

IN DECEMBER WE MADE SCULPTURE OF MORČIĆ, A TRADITIONAL SYMBOL OF RIJEKA AND SANG JINGLE BELLS.

WE ALSO PLAYED SCULPTURE GAME AND WE LOVED IT!

IN JANUARY WE DID CHARACTERS FROM THE PICTURE BOOK WE READ, HEDGEHOG'S HOME AND WE DID OUR PART OF COMBINED STORY ABOUT LEO AND MAYA.

IN MARCH WE MADE UP A SONG ABOUT FRIENDSHIP AND WE SANG IT.

IN APRIL WE MADE OUR COSTUME OF YELLOW DANDELION.
