Umwelt is the idea that every animal experiences the world in its own special way because it uses  its senses differently from ours! What are the five basic senses used by humans?

Danny the Doplhin finds his fish friends through listening to the echoes and sound waves they give off, this is called Echolocation!

Cows have eyes on the sides of their head allowing them to see everything around them but not what is behind them. Can you see 330 degrees around you?

Dogs have a VERY good sense of smell. Dogs interpret the world around them through odors which helps them naviage the world. It also helps dogs get extra snacks because they can smell any crumb dropped on the floor.
