This story was created by the project partner teachers together with the students and illustrated by little hands.

The weather was wonderful that day in the adventure forest. The sun was shining brightly. The forest dwellers had watched with admiration the rainbow that had appeared after the rain the day before. The forest was still very quiet. Only Square Girl was visible. But she was very sad. Because she had no friends to play with. Her mother had been observing Square Girl's situation for days. She had a good idea. She would enroll her in school. Square Girl was very happy with this news. She would have many playmates there. But she was still worried. What if no one wanted to be her friend...

     The next morning, Square Girl woke up early with excitement. She was very curious about her new friends. She had breakfast. She put on her best outfit. She put on her pink hairpins. She set off with her mother to go to school.

on the floor. Square Girl was a little shy,

The Square girl sat down next to the Rectangular boy. She seemed thoughtful, thinking about what advice to give her new friend. Not finding any suitable advice, she suggested: "Maybe we should go play with the Triangle boy and the Circle girl first. Maybe your mood will improve in a group of friends?" The rectangular boy agreed and they both went to the Welcome tower.
