There was once a girl named Abbi and her sister
Bella who lived in a small town called Ventureville.
Although the town was small, they had the
biggest library anyone had ever seen.
Both Abbi and Bella liked to visit the library once
a week for story time with Miss Valentine. Their
favorite stories were those of adventure.

On this particular day, Miss Valentine read
the children a story of two pirates who sailed
across the seven seas in search of the world's
most valuable treasure.
While on their way home from story time,
the girls took shortcut by the beach.
This was unlike any other walk home
because Bella stepped on a piece of old paper
that seemed to have a drawing on it, when
suddenly...

The sky turned black with lightning flashes.
"What is going on?" asked Bella with fear in
her eyes.
Abbi and Bella began to run faster towards
their house when they saw something
unbelievable!
Pointing her hand toward the object far in
the distance, Abbi began to gasp for air. "Bella
look, its a...a..."

"A pirate ship!" said Bella. Before the
sisters knew it, they had become pirates
themselves.
Ready for an adventure like the one Miss
Valentine read about, Abbi and Bella jumped
into the dingy that would take them to their
very own pirate ship.

Ahoy!

"Ahoy, me mateys! I be yer cap'n Pirate
Pete, and this be me first mate Rosalie."
Confused, Abbi and Bella introduced
themselves anyway. "Do you know what you
be holdin' there little lady?" "No," replied Bella.
"Why that be the long lost treasure map to the
world's most valuable treasure!"

Abbi and Bella had heard this story from
Miss Valentine and could not wait to find the
treasure with their new ship mates Pirate Pete
and Rosalie. But first, they knew they had to
overcome the greatest challenge of all...
Getting past the evil sea monster! The sea
monster was the larges creature in the seven
seas, and no one had figured out how to get
past it yet.

Pirate Pete had a plan, "Argh! Me and
Rosalie will fire the canons on deck to distract
the sea monster while Abbi and Bella dive
down to get the treasure, but you must be
quick."
The four pirates agreed and prepared to
carry out their plan.
With the fire of the third canon, Abbi and
Bella dove down to the sea monster's lair.

With the sea creature distracted by the
canons, Abbi and Bella quickly dove down to
get the treasure chest.
The girls moved so quickly that Bella
accidentally dropped the treasure map that she
had found lying on the beach.
