SZŁA DZIEWECZKA: THE SONG RISING THE FOREST
Teacher Derya KARAHAN and her students at Kızılyer Hüseyin Avni Özden Secondary School -Denizli / TÜRKİYE.

TEXT:
Szła dzieweczka do laseczka
Do zielonego, do zielonego
do zielonego.
Napotkała myśliweczka
Bardzo szwarnego, bardzo szwarnego
bardzo szwarnego.
Gdzie jest ta ulica, gdzie jest ten dom
Gdzie jest ta dziewczyna co kocham ją.
Znalazłem ulicę, znalazłem dom
Znalazłem dziewczynę co kocham ją.
Myśliweczku, kochaneczku,
bardzom ci rada, bardzom ci rada,
bardzom ci rada.
Dałabym ci chleba z masłem,
alem go zjadła, alem go zjadła,
alem go zjadła.
Gdzie jest ta ulica…

Once upon a time, a little girl wearing a crown made of flowers skipped joyfully toward the green forest. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, scattering golden spots on the ground. The girl softly hummed a melody:
“Szła dzieweczka do laseczka...”

As she walked deeper into the forest, she came across a handsome hunter standing next to an old oak tree covered in moss. The hunter had kind eyes and a warm smile.
"Hello," said the little girl.
"Hello to you too," the hunter replied. "What are you doing alone in such a deep forest?"
The girl smiled. "I'm listening to nature and enjoying its beauty," she said.

She wanted to offer him the bread she had brought, but she had already eaten her buttered slice.
She felt a little embarrassed, having nothing left to share.

They talked for a while. The hunter admired her cheerful spirit and gentle soul. He asked where she lived, hoping to see her again.
But the girl only smiled. Her mystery made her even more intriguing.

At the end of the day, the hunter quietly followed the girl. Along the way, he listened to nature and followed the traces… And finally, he discovered the little cabin hidden deep in the heart of the forest. He smiled and said, “I found the house.''

The next day, when they met again, the girl looked sad.
“My flower crown just fell into the lake... Now it’s floating on the water,” she said.
Seeing her sadness, the hunter replied gently,“I have two swans. I promise—they’ll find your crown and bring it back to you.”

Just then, two graceful swans glided down from the sky, circling silently above the lake...

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful village with green trees and a clear blue sea. There was a girl living in this village. Her name was Yasemin. There was a flower that Yasemin was very curious about. The name of this flower was basil.

The name of this flower was basil. Yasemin looked for basil. She saw that basil was a very beautiful flower. She insisted that her mother and father buy the flower. Her family bought basil as a birthday present.

Yasemin planted basil in her garden full of colorful flowers. But since it was hot while planting, she and her father went to buy a hat

He bought the hat, put it on and continued to plant the basil. He took great care of the basil every day.

The basil grew and grew and became very big. The basil was so beautiful that they could not get enough of looking at it. Her family was very proud of it. One day, they went to visit.

He took three branches of basil in his hand while visiting. She gave her friend the basil as a gift. Her friend's name was Elif.

Elif asked what basil was like. Yasemin informed Elif by telling her what she had learned. Elif was very happy. She and Elif took the basil and started painting.
They both gave the paintings they made as gifts to each other. Just as they were going home, the painting flew out of her hands. It fell onto the balcony of the aunt next door because of the wind. Elif and Yasemin knocked on the aunt's door. They asked the aunt for the painting. The aunt noticed something when she went inside and wanted to take the painting. She saw that the painting was done with fine details, and that the pointed and round leaves were drawn by shading. She thought that this talented girl would be successful. She told these to the girls. The girls told their mother what the aunt thought about the painting.

He said to his mother, "Mom, my aunt told me that I was very talented in painting. I definitely had to get training for it." They went home with her mother. The next day, Yasemi enrolled in a painting course.
She was a little nervous the first day. But when the course was over, she had a lot of fun. She saw a cat on her way home. She named it Basil. A year passed. Yasemin participated in a painting competition. She came in first in the competition. Now she has a painting room.
She grew up and went to the flower garden where everything started. How a basil plant affected her life.

Illustrations made by our student for the song.
Once upon a time, in a lovely Romanian village a lovely girl lived. Her name was Maria. She was a shy girl. She loved dancing but she was so shy that she couldn’t dance with her friends.
One day, her school organized a winter festival. Everyone was happy and excited, so was Maria. She wore her new fur coat for the festival.
At the festival her friends invited her to dance with the song ‘Drag mi-e jocul Romanesc’. She didn’t want to join them. She felt shy again because everyone was looking at her. She got so excited that she didn’t even know how to start dancing.
Then her teacher came, held her hands and started to dance with her.
