chapter 1: Five years from now.(age 17)

My name is Mellissa, and at 17, I’m standing at the begining of adulthood. Looking back, I see how much I’ve changed since I was 12. High school has been a whirlwind of experiences, challenges, and discoveries.

I’ve found a passion for computer science, where I’ve started building my own apps and diving deep into the world of coding. My friends and I often gather to share ideas and work on projects. we even created a small club dedicated to tech innovations! 

Outside of school, life is full and enriching. I still dance, finding joy in the rhythm of my favorite songs, and I’ve taken my love for sketching to new heights, making illustrations for story's I create! 

I’ve also discovered new hobbies like photography, capturing everyday moments and adventures with my friends! 

While I’ve faced challenges, like tough tests and sometimes feeling lost, I’ve learned the importance of resilience. 

My childhood friends remain an important part of my life, and I cherish the bonds we’ve built over the years. At 17, I feel excited for what’s to come, ready to embrace the journey of college and the endless possibilities ahead.

chapter 2: 10 Years. (age 22)

As I reflect on my life now at 22, I see how much I’ve grown from the self-respecting young 12-year-old I once was. I’ve successfully completed my degree in computer science, fueled by my childhood dreams of creating technology that could one day, change the world.

Today, I work with an innovative tech company that designs solutions to real-world problems, blending my passion for technology with my desire to make a positive impact.

 I live in a cozy two-story house on the outskirts of my hometown, a space where I feel both rooted and free. It’s a green oasis where my friends and family know where to find me, yet it feels like a hidden retreat at the same time. I share my home with my playful dog named crescent, and my two adorable rabbits, who brighten my days. 

My hobbies still enrich my life; I enjoy dancing whenever I can, diving into new stories, losing myself in video games, and sketching when inspiration strikes. 

Writing has become a cherished outlet, allowing me to express my thoughts and capture my experiences. Though I’ve made mistakes along the way, I’ve always learned from them, shaping my identity and my perspective on the world.
