They are a clear guide to learning: The DBAs establish the essential learning that students should achieve in each grade and subject area. This gives teachers a concrete point of reference for planning their lessons, designing activities, and assessing their students' progress. Imagine having a clear map of the educational journey; the DBAs are that map.

INTRODUCTION
By defining common apprenticeships for all students across the country, the DBAs seek to ensure that everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic background or geographic location, has the opportunity to develop the skills that are fundamental to their future.
It is like leveling the playing field so that everyone has a solid foundatioThe DBAs are organized in a progressive manner, which allows teachers to understand how learning is constructed across grades. This facilitates the transition of students between levels and ensures a logical sequence in their training. It is like constructing a building, where each floor builds on the previous one.

Once upon a time, in a very peculiar kingdom called Educaria, there was a floating magical school called The Academy of the Wise, where they taught not with common books, but with enchanted scrolls that only responded to those who truly wanted to learn.
The compass of knowledge

Every year, the young apprentices were given a special mission: to travel the paths of knowledge with the help of a magic compass, which was engraved with three shining letters: D-B-A.No one knew exactly what they meant, but it was rumored that those who deciphered its true power were able to learn anything and teach others with wisdom.
Our protagonist, Lia, was a curious eleven-year-old apprentice who had just received her compass. As she turned it for the first time, a soft voice came out of the air:

Welcome, Lia. I am your Basic Learning Performance Compass. Together we will journey through three great realms: Knowing, Doing and Being. Intrigued, Lia decided to start in the Kingdom of Knowledge, a land of floating book towers, airborne formulas and maps of knowledge. There, she met the Keeper of Knowledge, who explained to her. Here we learn the key contents, those that you must understand to advance. It is not enough to memorize, little Lia. You must build knowledge little by little, making connections with what you already know. This is part of the DBAs: they guide what is essential for a student to know at each grade level.

The compass shone and pointed to the next destination: the Kingdom of Doing. Lia walked until she came to a field full of workshops, where children were making ideas with their hands.
This is where knowledge is applied! -a young craftsman shouted. The DBA also tells us what we are capable of doing with what we know. Skills are developed here: writing, arguing, experimenting, problem solving. Because it's not just about knowing, it's about demonstrating it in practice.

Leah took an enchanted paintbrush and, with what she had learned in the Realm of Knowledge, wrote a story that floated through the sky like a kite. Her compass vibrated with excitement. The last place was the most mysterious: the Realm of Being, where the paths were made of mirrors and questions had no single answer.
There, an old woman with a warm gaze told her:
Here, little one, the DBAs remind us that we are not only students of books and homework, but people. This realm tells us about the values, attitudes and emotions that accompany learning: empathy, respect, teamwork, curiosity. "Being" is also learned, and is just as important as the other realms.
Lia looked in a mirror and, for the first time, understood: she was not only learning for herself, but to build a better world.

RESPECT
EMPATHY
CURIOSITY
TEAMWORK

The compass then turned on itself and lit up like never before. An inscription appeared in the air:
"DBAs are not fixed paths, but footprints that mark what is essential for meaningful learning."
Back at the Academy, Lia presented her journey to her classmates. She spoke not of dates or exact formulas, but of how each apprenticeship had transformed her. Everyone listened to her in silence, realizing that DBAs were not just school goals, but a way of learning with purpose, connection and heart.
From that day on, each apprentice's compass ceased to be a decorative object and became a living tool that guided them in their formation as wise... and as human beings.
