Öncelikle üç farklı renkteki oyun hamurunu üst üste koyuyoruz. Bu oyun hamurlarını paralel olacak şekilde ortadan kesiyoruz. Daha sonra bu kesilmiş oyun hamurlarını şekilde gösterildiği gibi karton parçasının üzerine üst üste koyuyoruz.

Bu deneyle öğrenci deprem sırasında yer kabuğunun nasıl değiştiğini fark eder.

Atık malzemelerin kullanılmasıyla sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedefleri göz önünde bulundurulmaktadır.

Hello, I'm Aslı. In this experiment, I learned how an earthquake occurs. While the earth shakes, some parts of it break. The surface can rise and fall.

Hello! My name is Nikolina.  I am a 4th grade student.

We have created an earthquake simulator

Materials needed:

- at least 4 equal plastic balls

- one shoe box

- scissors

Mode: Separate the lid from the box. Short the edges of the 2cm cover. Put the balls in the box and over them cover. When you shake the box, you will get a movement like an earthquake.

Materials

thick cardboard or hard cardboard (for road surface), play dough or sponge (for shock absorbing layer) ,plastic sticks or straws (for ground support), small stones or weights (to test the strength of the roads)

First, a road is drawn on cardboard. Small stones are placed on it, shaken and observed.

In the 2nd stage, play dough or sponge is placed under the road (connections can be made with straws). Small stones are placed on the road and shaken to test whether the roads are shock absorbers and observed. Which roads are more flexible or rigid are better at withstanding earthquakes? With this activity, students observe that flexible roads are better at withstanding earthquakes.Students build durable infrastructures within the scope of the 9th sustainable development goal: Industry, innovation, infrastructure
