Cort Whitney is a zero-time award-winning author from Southlake, Texas. As a child, he loved to read picture books and draw. This passion carried on later in his life when he finally decided to write a picture book following the 2025 NCAA national championship, as the Houston Cougars lost because they never shot the basketball at the end. With his parlay destroyed, Whitney decided to put his passion on paper to inspire children across the world to pass the ball and share with others.
