      “I can’t hear you!””SPONGEBOB 

SQUAREPANTS!!!!” I yelled at the TV.Then the TV 

flickered off.”That was eerie”,I responded to the 

current event.When I hopped off the couch I felt like 

I went down too fast for normal.Then I walked to my 

parents, finding it oddly hard to walk.I had to use 

twice as much force to move.I asked them if they felt 

the change.They replied,”Yes.”From there I went to 

Tic and Tac’s house to ask them.Sure enough they 

were doing there best to run towards me.When we 

got to each other we said in unison,”Do you feel 

that?Yes.”

 ( Before I begin, you should know Tic and Tac aren’t 

the sharpest crayons in the box.)We all thought about 

what was happening.I finally said,”Maybe that crazy 

scientist,Dr.Bob, has created some gadget that 

doubled the force of gravity.”Before I could go on,Tic 

said,”One question, what is gravity.”Tac replied,”Yea 

is it like gravy, mmm gravy.””No it is NOT like 

gravy.Gravity is the force that pulls 2 or more objects 

together.”I said.”What?”they responded.”Ok, it is the 

thing that keeps you on the ground.”I said. Tic and 

Tac said that we should save the world and stop 

Dr.Bob.The twins and I thought about ideas to change 

the gravity back.Tac suggested,”How about we go get 

some sledgehammers and hit the ground to move the 

Earth, possibly changing gravity.”

”Before I could protest, off went Tic and Tac to 

their garage, coming back with 2 

sledgehammers.I stood there laughing for 

awhile and finally told them to stop wasting 

their time.I suggested we look for Dr.Bob’s 

lair.Tic and Tac agreed.We trudged-because of 

double gravity- around the block and we saw it.
