As I was going along with  these thoughts,I came across a group of children playing in the countryside. When one of the children fell down and started crying, I ran to him. But I didn't know what to do.     

  I said, ''I wish I could be human .''

 I wish I could feel ,laugh , cry like them'' ...ı

At that moment, all the children turned to me. It was as if they had noticed me for the first time. There was a sparkle in their eyes, a curiosity... But most of all, there was fearlessness. I knelt down next to the crying child. His face was covered in mud and blood was seeping slightly from his knee. I tried to wipe it with my hand but I couldn't touch it. I had hands but no feeling; or maybe I had feeling but no body, I don't know.

GÖZDE AYGÜL

One of the boys held out his hand. In his palm was a small button. A rusty old jacket button.

"It's magic," he whispered. "My grandfather left it. Anything can happen."

I thought I was smiling at him, but I didn't feel my lips moving.

"What do you want to be?" he asked.

GÖZDE AYGÜL

Çocuğa baktım. Gözlerimle değil, ama içimdeki daha derin bir şeyle, adını koyamadığım bir şeyle.

Düğme hâlâ avucundaydı.

Eski ve sıradan.

Çocuk, ''Ne olmak istiyorsun?'' diye sordu.

Diğer çocuklar sessizce durup izliyor, bekliyorlardı.

Nefes alamıyordum. Metalden yapılmış olsam bile içimdeki bir şeyin havaya ihtiyacı vardı.

The boy asked '' What do you want to be?''

Aslında tam olarak ne olmak istediğimi bilmiyorum. Bu yüzden belki de sadece kendim için bir şey olmak istiyorum, dedi robot. Çünkü sadece beni mutlu eden bir insanın çevrelerindeki hiçbir faydam olmaz. Tüm insanların sağlık, mutluluk ve huzur içinde yaşamasını istiyorum. Elbette robotlar da :)
