GÖZDE KAPLAN KULU ANAOKULU

Teacher Gözde and her students who live in Konya really wanted to see Nasrettin Hoca. They thought about what they could do to achieve this and went to teacher Ayşenur's class at the same school.

They told this idea to teacher Ayşenur and while they were talking, Hüma suddenly said ‘I found it!’ 'We can build a time machine together...' They built a time machine together and got on it.

And they found themselves in Akşehir, the land of Nasreddin Hoca. They visited Nasreddin Hodja's house and tasted the delicious cherries of Akşehir. They wore local clothes and played "Bermende Zeybek".

Then they rode on Nasrettin Hoca's donkey and came to Konya, the land of Mevlana.  They visited the tomb of Mevlana. They watched the Sema show and filled their bellies with meat bread.

They said goodbye to Nasrettin Hodja and went to Çankırı as soon as they got on their machines, they went to the Tuz Magarasi there and visited it, then they all dressed up as Seymen and attended the Yaren night.

The sleepy children went to sleep and when they woke up in the morning, they realized that the time machine was moving towards the north and they came to Sinop. They watched the Karadeniz view from the lighthouse located at the northernmost tip of Turkey.

They got back in the time machine and started a new journey. When they got off the time machine, there was grass under their feet and the Black Sea in front of their eyes. The adventure continued in Ordu. In Ünye, the pearl of Ordu, they entered the hazelnut gardens and picked hazelnuts. They experienced the drying of hazelnuts on the threshing floor. They chatted with the village aunts. From there they went to the sea to cool off. Uncle Dursun, the fisherman at the harbor, taught them how to cast a net. The seagulls passing by seemed to be waving to them.

They got on the time machine for the next stop, Gaziantep, the city they wanted so much. The children first watched the making of baklava and didn't realize the time because they had traveled so far, they were hungry. They ate Gaziantep food and enjoyed their baklava. Then they visited the Zeugma Mosaic Museum. They examined the patterns on the mosaics and finally tried to draw their own mosaics.

Then they suddenly stopped and thought, realized that they had never been to the Marmara region, jumped into the time machine and found themselves in the unique beauty of the yellow blooming sunflower fields. After taking a Bosphorus tour accompanied by the cool winds of the Bosphorus, they examined the architectural structure of the Hagia Sophia mosque, then realized that they were hungry and attended the Kakava festivities in Edirne and relieved the tiredness of the day.

The children who boarded the ship came to Çanakkale, visited Çanakkale Martyrs' Cemetery, visited the monument, took photos and understood much better how the lands of this country were won. Together, they ate fish bread and famous cheese halva by the sea and admired the beauty of the view.

After leaving Çanakkale, the children felt the time machine taking them to a place with green hills and living traditions: Suciu de Sus, Maramureș county  in Romania. There, they were welcomed by children dressed in traditional Maramureș costumes and learned a local folk dance. They visited the centuries-old wooden church and listened to local stories told by an old woman sitting on her doorstep. In the end, they tasted homemade sweet bread and fresh milk, feeling right at home in a fairytale world.

Next, the children felt the familiar whirl of the time machine and arrived in Slobozia, a charming town in southern Romania. They were amazed to discover a replica of the Eiffel Tower standing proudly in the end of the city, in a compex named Hermes. As they explored, they visited several historical landmarks and learned fascinating facts about the region’s past. The day ended with a fun picnic in a local park, where they shared stories and laughter under the warm afternoon sun.

On Romanian soil, they continued their adventures in Moldova. Vaslui enchanted them with the church built by Prince Stephen the Great, the princely courts and the Copou Park where children dressed in folk costumes could be heard on stage. Because they were impressed by the country of Romania, the children decided to visit a few more areas here. Getting back into the time machine, the children crossed the Carpathian Mountains and arrived in the Oltenia area. Here they stopped in the beautiful city of Craiova, also called the capital of Oltenia.

To get acquainted with the history of the area, they visited the History Museum. Then they relaxed in the “Nicolae Romanescu” Park, the largest urban park in Romania and the third largest in Europe, with over 90 hectares of green space.

From Nicolae Romanescu Park, they headed towards "Ion Oblemenco" Stadium. They continued their journey to the Multipurpose Hall. Then the children arrived at the "Alexandru Buia" Botanical Garden, where they admired the multitude of ornamental plants.This Botanical Garden of the University of Craiova is known both nationally and internationally, having been included in the International Association of Botanical Gardens (I.A.B.G.) since 1974, and since 2001 in the Association of Botanical Gardens of Romania (A.G.B.R.).

Their journey took them farther west, across the Carpathians, to the heart of Transylvania—Cluj-Napoca. The city's energy was different: youthful, vibrant, and full of contrasts. Modern cafes stood beside Gothic churches, and students filled the streets with movement and conversation. The group visited the imposing St. Michael's Church in Union Square, and marveled at the statue of Matthias Corvinus, the great Hungarian king born in Cluj. At the Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania, the children wandered through reconstructions of traditional homes from the Apuseni Mountains and Maramureș, touching the textures of old wooden gates and woven carpets.

When they were still in Cluj County, the time machine took them over the hills and not far from Cluj-Napoca they arrived in Turda, at the Salina which was hidden deep in the depths. They visited this magical land in the depths of Transylvania, which is the most spectacular man-made underground in the world, created in a special natural environment, dug into the salt deposited after the evaporation of the sea that covered the entire region millions of years ago.

Then, the children learned about the existence of a large dam, the dam on the great Beliș Lake, located in the heart of the Western Carpathians, also in Cluj County. So their adventure continued with the search for this place. They passed through many vast forests, of extraordinary beauty and grandeur, they passed through fields full of daffodils and wild peonies and once they reached their destination they were impressed by what they saw. There they visited the statue of the great Romanian revolutionary, Avram Iancu, and the locals treated them to the famous sarmale in cabbage leaves and palaneta with cheese and cabbage.

After so much discovery, they realized they were very hungry. They sat down and enjoyed delicious fish dishes and Pomorie-style mussels, all prepared with love. For dessert, they tried local fig jam, which they liked surprisingly much.

At the end of the day, they gathered by the beach and used tiny shells and pebbles to create their own sea-inspired mosaics, just like little artists.

Pomorie had welcomed them gently, and the children promised to return one day.

They boarded the time machine for the next stop — Pomorie, a charming seaside town in Bulgaria.

The children were excited as they arrived and immediately felt the fresh breeze from the Black Sea. Their first stop was the famous Salt Museum, where they learned how sea salt had been made for centuries. They curiously watched the salt pans glimmer in the sun and listened carefully to the guide.

Then, they visited an old Thracian beehive tomb, walking slowly through the ancient stones and wondering about the people who had built it. Their imaginations sparkled with ideas of past civilizations.

After Pomorie, the children arrived in Varna– the sea capital of Bulgaria, welcomed by the scent of the sea and a fresh breeze. They visited the impressive Dolphinarium, laughing and clapping at the playful dolphins performing fun tricks. At the Archaeological Museum, they discovered ancient golden treasures and learned that the oldest processed gold in the world was found right there. At the end of the day, they strolled through the Sea Garden, collecting seashells and dreaming of new adventures.

SEVASTIANI KALPAKIDOU  

After their first stop in Greece, children teleported like a rainbow to Alexandroupolis and saw a tall Lighthouse, played on a beach with golden sand and swam in a deep blue sea! They also  saw some really rare species of birds and animals at a place called Delta of Evros. After that, they eat souvlaki  and danced the “Ntachtili” in the Park of Freedom!

ANASTASIA PAPANIKOLAOU  

When il was already nightfall they decided to go next to Alexadroupolis to the area of Rhodope, which is the town of Sapes. They flew with the vultures to where they listened and danced to Thracian songs, smelled the blooming night flowers and counted the stars in the night sky.

The next morning they decided that it was a good idea to visit an island in the Aegean, so they chose the most beautiful and green island of Greece, called Lesvos! The loved the sun, the  blue clear sea and the delicious traditional food, especially the lagana bread and the famous musaka! They also visited the petrified forest which is unique and they admired trees of thousand years ago!

When they pressed a large button that read "Albania - past and future", the machine began to vibrate... and suddenly, they disappeared!

He did not disappear, he just found himself in the heart of Europe, in Slovakia. Before the travellers were the mountains , the High Tatras.  Thanks to a cable car, they rode to the top of Lomnický štít, which resembles a triangular pyramid. From there they could observe the beauty of nature - lakes, lakes and the most beautiful waterfall.

Just as they descended from the mountain, a quiet click was heard again – the magical watch glowed with a green light.

In an instant, they disappeared…

…they found themselves among sandy dunes and pine trees – it was the Curonian Spit in Lithuania! The children immediately felt the gentle sea breeze and heard the rustling of the Baltic Sea. They climbed the Hill of Witches in Juodkrantė, where wooden sculptures told ancient Lithuanian legends.

Later, they traveled to Vilnius, where they gazed in awe at the Gediminas’ Tower standing atop a hill. From the top, a sea of rooftops unfolded – churches, red tiles, and green hills

Napoli, Italy Children are cheerfully welcomed in Naples by the characteristic mask of Pulcinella, who accompanies them to visit Palazzo Reale, Castel dell'ovo and the Maschio Angioino. Walking along the seafront they will be able to enjoy the view of Vesuvius which embraces the city.
