In a quiet workshop, four groups of children from four countries created sculptures with shapes, colors and imagination.

When all the children left school and the lights went out, something magical happened…

The sculptures they had made woke up! They were made of shapes, colors and imagination. And they wanted to discover who they were…

In a corner of Greece, the sculptures moved their legs and arms and wondered:

– “Why do we have such crazy shapes? Why do we look like we came from a dream?”

One of them answered:

– “We are probably made for something colorful and happy!

 Ιn Lithuania, the sculptures looked up at the sky through the school window.

– “What is this Harlequin?” asked a balloon-like sculpture.

– “A carnival hero, full of shapes and light!” replied another.

A little further away, in Cyprus, the sculptures formed a circle and discussed:

– “Someone inspires us… Maybe an artist with imagination?”

A sculpture that looked like a star whispered:

– “His name is Miró… and he dreams of a Harlequin!”

In Romania, the sculptures started dancing.

– “We want to meet him!” they shouted.

– “Let’s find him! Let’s travel through our imagination!”

And together they set off on the most beautiful journey…

Together they traveled towards an imaginary painting.

Suddenly, a painting full of life appeared in front of them:

"Carnaval d’Arlequin" by Joan Miró.

…

Harlequin was waiting for them there.

– “I was waiting for you,” he said. “You are the pieces of my world. You have brought me back to life!”

Αrt lives when we share it,” said Harlequin.

– “You, from different countries, have made sculptures that speak the same language: imagination!”

The sculptures danced around him. They were happy. They had found their meaning.

Before dawn, the sculptures returned to their places.

Art unites us.

Children from four countries collaborated, created, dreamed.

And through Miró’s Harlequin, they learned that we can all speak with colors, with shapes…

…with heart.
