

Our project is an eTwinning projectprepared in parallel with the Erasmus+ project named "GreenMath with STEM" with the code KA210-SCH. Our projectwill be carried out with the aim of ensuring that STEM teachers integrate mathematics and climate change subjectsinto their curriculum and thus provide their students with theskills to express the causes and consequences of climatechange in mathematical language with innovative methods.

6. Implementing the student idea that received the most votes in the Tricider Student Idea vote
(A student named Çınar from Hasan İçyer Middle School was chosen as the first idea by receiving the most votes in the Tricider vote. Çınar's idea is "Preparing a cartoon, picture, poster, story, video or presentation to draw people's attention to climate change and raise their awareness". Our activities this month will be in this direction. Each school will conduct at least one study on these topics and carry out these studies in or out of school. )

(The idea of a student named Rüzgar from Şehit TeğmenSubutay Alkan Secondary School was chosen as the first idea by receiving the most votes in the Tricider voting last month.)
Rüzgar's idea is "Designing board games with recycled materials"
Example: Go, Chess, Checkers, Monopoly, Scrabble, Mangala, Corridor, Nine Stones (9 men's mirrors), Three Stones (tic-tac-toe), Snakes&Ladders, Ludo
Our activities this month will be in this direction. Each school will conduct a study(s) on this subject and ensure that other students use it in the classroom or school.
(All work related to our project will be exhibited in the school's end-of-term exhibition, which will contribute to the dissemination of our project and raise awareness about climate change and mathematics.)
8. Each partner should prepare a lesson plan by adapting mathematics and climate change topics to their own lesson and apply it in their class.
9. Prepared lesson plans are collected in an e-book and made available to all teachers.
MARCH PROJECT PLAN
One person will start the story about Pi, the other partners will continue in order, each partner will add a visual to their own part with any of the artificial intelligence tools.
(Example: Once upon a time, there was a magical place in the Land of Nature. The intervals of this land were a magnificent circle symbolizing an endless cycle where everything was connected to its scope. According to legend, there was a mysterious being who lived inside this circle: Pi. Pi was the symbol throughout 3.14… and was considered a magical power that explained the continuity and cyclicity of nature.)
Calculating the number pi by dividing the circumference of the circle marked in the picture by the diameter of the circle. Each partner school asks a question to the other partner as a challenge to calculate the number pi from the given images.

Organizing a Kahoot event related to the subject at the end of the student presentations

Developing games suitable for climate change and mathematics topics (Climate Change Awareness Game, Carbon Footprint Calculator Game, Recycling Hero Game, Simulation Explaining the Greenhouse Effect, Renewable Energy Management Game…) by students using the any program designed for use by children
A final project evaluation survey will be created for our students and teachers.
