As a dog walker walks by I bark so EVERYONE will be warned. I'm Clover, a 2 year old Corgi. If you ever wondered what a dogs life is like, then I'm the pup for you! I explain every detail! (P.S this is a fantasy book. So don't expect everything to be real.) Anyway, let's continue the story. My human mom came running. "Clover, that's just the neighbors." She said. "Oh Clover!" Said my human sister. My human sister's name is Chloe. Chloe scratched my ears. Which is ALSO my favorite place to be scratched! I jump up and lick her face. She giggles. I start to get sleepy. I usually sleep in Chloe's room, so I go up there. I curl up into a ball and get cozy. Chloe has THE BEST blankets! I wake up to see that Chloe WASN'T THERE! I hear my human mom say downstairs, "Ha ha! I guess Clover slept in late again." Oh, that's why! I go downstairs and there it is, waiting for me...

                       LEFTOVER STEAK FROM LAST NIGHT!!!

I run over and DEVOUR it. Everyone laughs, but I'm not sure why. It's just me sprinting over and dramatically eating some steak. After that weird laugh fest, I go on the couch so I could watch everyone who walks by. I see a dog walker, but I don't smell any ordinary dog. Instead, I smell stuffies, and rope. At night time I don't go to sleep. I stay up late to make sure that my humans are safe, and thankfully I did! Because that same dog walker came by but this time with no dog! I knew that cheeky dog was fake! He was wearing all black and creeping around, while dancing on our lawn!!! He breaks through our door, I bark, and bark, and bark some more! But nobody hears me! The burglar climbs through the hole that he made and I try to scare him with kisses, it doesn't work. I bark as loud as I can, it works! My human dad comes rushing in, he calls my human mom, who calls my human brother, who calls Chloe. By the way, my human brother's name is Michael, but we all call him Mikey.

My human dad goes to the phone and calls the cops while the rest of my human family stalls, except Chloe. She uses this time to go and draw. Oh, and Mikey uses this time to go play video games. I use this time to go to Chloe's room and finally get some rest. So I guess it was only my human mom who stalled. I slept until the morning, so I can't speak any more about the night. In the morning I was excited and pumped up for tonight. 

Tonight, it was my first time hosting a pup party! I instantly started barking so everyone would know that I want to go to the doggy park. I know that everyone coming to the party would be there. My human dad took me to the park. I talked to some of my best friends and told them what we were planning to do there. When I got home I ran up to Chloe's room so I could sleep straight until night. Chloe woke me up so she could sleep. I went on her rug and stayed awake until exactly midnight then, I knew everyone was

asleep. I ran downstairs and jumped up to open the door. Every single pup that I knew came rushing in! I had doggy treats everywhere, a doggy treat scavenger hunt, AND a doggy treat dance floor! The party was AWESOME!!! But sadly, it was over in a snap! Not only because it was past midnight, but because Chloe CAUGHT US!!! "What is going on here?" She said. We all just pretended to sleep. "No, it's okay. I won't tell mom, and, this party looks AWESOME!!!" So we ALL started partying around! Well, just for a few minutes. After that, everyone went home. Nothing else interesting really happened that year, except Chloe's BIRTHDAY!!! Guess what...
