The fairy tales are in each country's language and translated into English.

Sweden

In the Swedish school, there are 39 students involved in the project. There are two classes, FA & FB. When we meet and work on the project, half FA and half FB meet. The groups are called Ants and Frogs.
These students make a fairy tale together. When we draw pictures for the fairy tales, the classes do it separately, class FA has two fairy tales and pictures. Class FB has two fairy tales and pictures. Therefore, there are 4 fairy tales. But the two are the same but with different pictures.
Autumn fairy tale by FB "Frogs"

Björnen och vargen
The bear and the wolf.

Once upon a time there was a girl named Maja. She was going to the forest to pick leaves.

Då kom en björn
och en varg.
Maja blir rädd.
Then a bear and a wolf came. Maja gets scared.
Hon går hem och hämtar kött, sedan lurade hon iväg vargen och björnen.
She goes home and gets meat, then she lures the wolf and the bear away.

Sen kunde hon plocka sina löv.
Snipp snapp snut så var sagan slut.
Then she could pick her leaves.
Snipp snipp snipp and the story was over.

De guldiga löven
The golden leaves

Once upon a time, there was a rabbit who saw the colored leaves falling down.

Men det var bara guldiga löv.
But it was just golden leaves.

A fairy came and helped the rabbit conjure the leaves in all the colors of autumn.

Då kände sig kaninen glad och nöjd. Kaninen tackade älvan.
Snipp, snapp, snut så var sagan slut.
Then the rabbit felt happy and content. The rabbit thanked the fairy.
Snap, snap, snap and the story was over.

Greece

Once upon a time, in a forest, there lived a small, sweet squirrel named Billy. Billy had a furry, bushy tail and soft, velvety ears.
In an autumn morning, Billy woke up and came out of the hollow in the tall oak tree where his home was. He was stretching when he saw something shiny on the ground. He jumped down from his nest to see what it was.
It was a delicious-looking candy in a pink wrapping paper. It looked so tasty! But his mom had always told him not to eat candies… What should he do?
He ate it.
After a while, Billy began to feel dizzy. Dizzier and dizzier… until he fell right into the nearby river! The water was cold—so cold—and rushing fast. Billy was unconscious…
As the water flowed, it carried Billy onto a large, heavy rock. When he fell on it, he bumped his head and woke up. He looked around—this place was unfamiliar. He must have been very far away, deep in the forest. Tall trees were everywhere.

Soon, it started to rain and blow. He heard a “tap-tap-tap.” It was a woodpecker making a hole in a tree to build his home. The woodpecker asked Billy what his name was and who his mother was.
Even though the woodpecker pretended to be kind, he was actually mean. He took Billy on his wings and carried him to the Forest of Wickedness, where he dropped him in front of a family of squirrels.
They looked just like his own family—like his mom and dad! Billy was so happy—at last, he was home!
But the truth soon came out… He realized it when his “new family” threw him back into the river! His real family would never do such a thing. Billy felt terribly sad, bitter, and disappointed. He cried as he sank into the water.
He remembered his mother’s words… He should never have eaten that candy. How wrong he had been not to listen to her!
Then, Billy saw a big orange leaf floating by. He grabbed it and climbed on top to stay afloat. Suddenly, he felt a hand touch him… It was his mother!
He woke up in his bed—it had all been a dream! What a relief! He snuggled into his mother’s arms and gave her a sweet kiss.
