" For every young mind who believes small choices have great power. May you guard every watt with care, brighten rooms with daylight and kindness, and light the future—not by using more, but by wasting less. "

One Monday morning, the science teacher walked into class with a big smile. “This week,” she announced, “you will do a project about electricity conservation. Each group must practice at home and then write a report about how to save electricity.”
The students cheered in excitement. Jacob, James, and Fiere quickly formed a group, knowing they could create something special together.

During the second break, while most students played outside, the three friends stayed in their classroom to plan. Jacob opened his notebook, ready to write ideas. James walked around, looking at the lights and fans. Fiere leaned on her desk, thinking hard.
“What if we make our project fun—like a challenge?” Fiere suggested. Jacob grinned, “A challenge to save electricity… I like that!” James nodded, “It could be called The Saving Challenge.”

As they discussed, they noticed something strange. Even though the sun was shining brightly through the windows, all the lights were still on. Chargers were left plugged into the walls with no phones attached. “So much power is wasted every day,” Jacob muttered, scribbling in his notebook. James shook his head, “People don’t think small things matter.” Fiere replied softly, “That’s exactly why we must prove that they do.”

They decided to try their challenge later at Jacob’s house. Each of them would take a role: Jacob would measure and write down the electricity they saved, James would check switches and set up power strips, and Fiere would make posters and give reminders. “If we succeed,” said Jacob, “we can show the results in our report.”
The three friends agreed with excitement, ready to turn their idea into action.
