GROUP 1
We chose The Backyardigans because they remind us of the value of imagination, teamwork, and friendship—just like in our group. We dedicate this work to our English teacher, with gratitude for guiding and inspiring us every day.

I am Pablo, and I always have many ideas. That day I woke up very excited. I dreamed about a treasure map hidden in the yard. I grabbed my blue hat and ran to tell my friends.
When we went outside, we found a wrinkled paper. It was a map! My heart was beating fast. The map showed a mysterious island on the other side of the yard.

PABLO
I wanted to be the captain of the ship. I shouted, “All aboard!” We built our ship with boxes and sticks. I gave the orders, even if I got a little confused sometimes.
During the trip, I worried we might get lost, but my friends trusted me, and that gave me courage. When we reached the island, I saw palm trees, golden sand, and I could almost hear the ocean.

Together we followed the map until we found a chest under a big tree. When we opened it, there was no gold or jewels, only fruits, candy, and a message: “The real treasure is friendship.”
I felt happy and learned that being brave means moving forward with your friends by your side.

TYRONE
I’m Tyrone, and I like to take things slowly. When Pablo showed us the map, I thought, “Well, this could be fun.”
I’m not a fan of rushing, but I joined the adventure. We imagined a big ship and sailed toward the island. I took the oars and rowed calmly to make sure we didn’t “sink.”
Pablo was nervous, so I told him: “Relax, everything will be fine.” Patience is important.

On the island, I suggested we take it step by step and follow the clues carefully. We found footprints and branches pointing the way.
When we found the chest, I wasn’t surprised to see candy instead of treasure. For me, the best part was being together. I thought: “This is the real treasure, spending time with friends.”

UNIQUA
Hi! I’m Uniqua, and I love to explore. When Pablo found the map, I was the first to say: “Let’s find the treasure!”
On the ship I sang and cheered everyone up. The island felt magical to me, full of colors and mystery.

I found the first clue: a shell with an arrow on it. I shouted: “This way, friends!”
We faced “dangers” like giant rocks, a river of lava, and even a talking parrot. I jumped, laughed, and showed ideas to keep going.

I opened the chest, expecting jewels, but what we found was even better: a message about friendship. I smiled and said: “This is the perfect treasure!”
For me, the adventure meant there is always something new to discover, but it’s better when you share it.

TASHA
I’m Tasha, and I like to be practical. When Pablo showed the map, I wasn’t sure if it was real. But since everyone was excited, I joined in.
On the ship, I tried to keep order. I said: “Stay focused, team!” I wanted to make sure we got to the island safely.
