A long time ago, there were two sisters. One
named Elisa and the other Ella. Elisa was kind and
helpful, but her mother did not love her as much
as she loved Ella, a spoilt and mean girl, though
beautiful. One day, their mother wanted them to
pick ripe apples to see who could get the ripest
and juiciest apples. Elisa and Ella went straight
into the woods, Ella picking whatever type of
apple she saw, Elisa picking only the ripest. "That
slowpoke will lose!" Ella muttered angrily.

Elisa met an adventurer on the way. "Hello! Can you
do me a favor?" the adventurer asked. "Sure." Elisa
replied happily. "Please do give me food. I cannot
seem to find my way back to my camping spot." the
adventurer requested. "You can have one of my
apples!" Elisa said, giving the stranger her apple.
The adventurer was just so secretly a fairy, she
gave Elisa lots of ripe apples. "Oh, thank you!"
Elisa gratefully told her. "No problem! Even the
poorest deserve the most!" the fairy told Elisa,
smiling kindly.

The adventurer eventually found Ella. "Can you please do me a
favor?" the adventurer asked Ella. "No! And you can WEEP for all
I care!" Ella crossed her arms tightly. "Oh. Okay." the
adventurer frowned. As she was a fairy, she cursed Ella and
took all her apples away. "Hey, you! You're an ugly witch!!" Ella
shouted. The adventurer gave her another frown. "You should
look at the inside of you. You're the witch." she told Ella. "Who
cares? Mommy will surely pity me and let me win instead of that
ugly Elisa!" Ella snorted. "Sure, sure. We'll see." the adventurer
reluctantly replied.

"I am disappointed in you, Ella. As for
you, Elisa... You did great." their
mother concluded. "Mom! Elisa is so
ugly..! Why?" Ella stomped her feet.
"Elisa? Ugly?" their mother retorted,
"No, no! I am switching things over
today!"
"Switch things over..?" Elisa repeated
innocently, "What do you mean,
mother?" Their mother just smiled.
"Elisa, come. I have a present for
you." she added.
