It was a warm, sunny day. I was packing for my camping trip with my friends. "Girls, this is going to be the best trip ever!" I exclaimed. " It will be!" Anna and Skyler reply. We waited for the campsite pickup bus to come. A while later, it came. 

We got on the bus and chatted all the way to the camp. "I am so excited!" cried Anna. After a short hour, we arrived at the campsite. Anna, Skyler, and I started pitching a tent. It was almost dinnertime by the time we finished, and we had brought no food except a packet of apple slices. " Y'all, I think we need to go get our own food. From the forest." Skyler said. "You're right," I replied.

Hmmm...

We set out to get some food. It was dark by the time we got back to their campsite. We ate the mushrooms and fish we caught, and the apple slices. 

We got into our tent and drifted off to sleep.

ZZZZZ.... *snoreee*

"Mmmphh.. Yawnnn," I woke up with an itchy spot on my leg. I got up and looked at it. " Huh. I guess a bug bit me. Don't you guys think so? Wait! Guys?!" The girls were missing! It was really unlike them to wake up early. Maybe they just went out. 

I guess they just went out. I sat on a tree stump and waited. And waited. Waited some more. Yup, they were missing. I had to go find them! I grabbed my backpack and started on my journey. I honestly don't know where to look first. I saw a cave, so maybe they were inside? But it had a PIN code thing, so they couldn't get inside. On my way, I noticed a bird with an arrow pointing somewhere on a tree. Maybe my friends left a trail? Or they were being their usual selves and were playing Hide- and- Seek. I followed it anyway. When I got to the end of the trail there was a note.

Okay! That was a start. I have heard this riddle before in school... umm.. Oh! A river! I picked the note up and kept moving.

Mmmm.. River! I heard this at school!

I trotted off to the biggest lake I could find. Well, there was nothing. But wait! I see something written on that rock. It was a paper stuck to it! It said, "What has an opening but no door, has a mouth but no voice, and can be entered but not walked into?" Let's see... It was taking a long time to figure it out. Since it was too hard, I grabbed the paper and kept on walking. 

Err... A house? Naw, that has a door. Umm... I don't know..
